Why is BBC calling it a disease in the dressing room that they have to get rid of?

I thought the dresssing room was fine. What disease?

I think it was just some very flowery terminology they used.

We so need to fly out a middle order bat to the tour party asap, could Ballance or Duckett suddenly get 'injured' or something. Selectors mess up again, what is ballance doing in india when there's not a hope in hell he's ever getting picked to play.

The problem with the schedule is now rearing it's ugly head. Duckett hasn't got a 3 or 4 day game to sort his technique out, Buttler has had one first class game in something like 125 years, and Ballance can't have a game to say "hello, there's a ton, remember me"??

5 back-to-back tests ridiculous, as they would be back here where touring teams need to acclimatise themselves. Whoever decided on this schedule should be dragged behind horses, lynched and then forced to watch Pick all day.

The schedule might be 'OK' if there was a concurrent Lions tour taking place as usually seems to happen

Sounds like a fudge with faf being found guilty and getting fined 100% of his match fee but no ban

http://www.espncricinfo.com/australi...y/1067718.html

He's going to appeal as well:

Cricket South Africa has confirmed that du Plessis, who had been represented by CSA's legal counsel via teleconference, would appeal the verdict. He has 48 hours from the time of receipt of the written decision to lodge his objections.

They need to stop faffing about and ban him if they have found him guilty.

That is a quite damning and no doubt widely shared view by England fans.
And think of the kind of financial, logistical and coaching resources available to the England Cricket team that other teams like Bangladesh and Pakistan would only dream of.

A wipe out on a tour of India may not be that surpsrising, given India's vast pool of players and cricket being the national game. But losing to Pakistan routinely and now Bangladesh too is quite humbling.

Its amazing to see a 5 year old playing at the schools level with boys aged between 10-15. Even more amazing that the channel dedicated atleast 3 cameras and commentators to this game.

Rudra has a bright future. Looked totally unfazed. Stance was beautiful too.

South Africa finding it tough going in Adelaide and it's not even the 'night' part of the day/night Test yet

157/6 with du Plessis holding things together

The Guardian is suggesting that Batty will come into the England team as it looks like a spinners' pitch and Ansari isn't fit.

SA finally bowling a lot better, Abbott and Rabada. Really pleased for Abbott. Media have been unfairly disparaging about him for too long.
Great knock by Khawaja. He never looks too happy though does he?
Pink ball not swinging as much as I thought. I read they'd prepared it a bit differently for this test compared to the last day night one?

Cook confirms that Buttler and Woakes will play with Duckett dropped and Broad injured
dtcdtcdtc
26-11-2016
Cook wins the toss and we will bat

Spreads calling England runs at 320 - 335 which I think is on the low side...

Buttler, Woakes and Batty in for England and Patel and Nair in for India

Hameed gone for 9 and Cook has given 2 chances, the 2nd of which was a very easy 'dolly' to mid wicket

51/1 off 14 overs in the first hour

2 new umpires and Yadev already had an official warning for running down the pitch and Shami has been spoken to for doing the same
dtcdtcdtc
26-11-2016
Oh dear

2 awful shots in successive overs after tea and we're 51/3 with Moeen and Bairstow both on 0*
dtcdtcdtc
26-11-2016
92/4 at lunch with Moeen falling to another injudicious shot after looking good

Bairstow and Stokes need to do their usual rescue act...

Congratulations to India on their 4-0 series victory. England are pathetic
Callum Collum

Not for the first time, Stokes and Bairstow are building a decent partnership... so far. 136-4.
dtcdtcdtc
26-11-2016
Stokes runs past the ball and is stumped just as England were getting back towards parity

India give Stokes a 'send-off' and the umpire steps in again

144/5 with all five wickets taken by different bowlers

But you said it would be 5-0 ???????

Care to answer my question about what your XI would be ?

Or are you constantly going to defy DS rules about posting anything constructive ?

Go on, be a devil, have a go at posting something other than your usual boring slating.

You make Bob Willis look like Keith Chegwin.

What happened to England not making 250 in any innings in the series?

Odd trivia I heard on the radio

Moeen has now batted at every position for England from 1-9 except for 3 which is where he bats for Worcester

not sure if it's just co-incidence, but no reviews for either team yet and approaching 80 overs where they would get them back anyway

Co-incdence , me thinks, but now we've got one and Bairstow survives it
