Jason Roy and Sam Billings need to be in this team, moving Ali when he was in superb form was another poor move by England

Think that was me but then again I read or predicted the pitches wrong. The pitches are way better than expected.

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, but do we know who will take the gloves for England? Bairstow or Buttler?

Worryingly, Hameed hasn't taken the field and will be having an x-ray on the finger that he damaged in the last Test and was hit when he was caught yesterday

India's session again with England all out for 283

India 60/1 at lunch

Stokes reprimanded but nothing for Kohli :

Ben Stokes has received his second ICC reprimand in the last month, giving him two demerit points under the new code of conduct - halfway to being banned for a Test match. Stokes admitted a Level One offence after being dismissed on the first day of the Mohali Test against India.

Stokes was found to have used "language or a gesture that is obscene, offensive or insulting", in breach of Article 2.1.4 of the ICC Code of Conduct. Having been stumped for 29 during the afternoon session, he reacted to the India players celebrating - exchanging words with Virat Kohli - and his comments were heard by the on-field umpires.

England bowled out quickly, India going along pretty well at the moment. 127-2 with Pujara and Kohli batting....

Isnt the wild celebrations after Stokes wicket a sign that his wicket is considered so valuable. Stokes should be chuffed at the celebrations.

Unless ofcourse Kohli reminded him of Brathwaite

Bairstow needs one more dismissal to add the record for most dismissals in a calendar year to the most runs by a 'keeper in a calendar year

Excellent effort

Stokes has got the class and self control it appears to say nowt and he doesn't possess a get out of jail free card like his mouthy opponent.

I've got my Tivo set to automatically record the cricket so I can rewind to catch anything interesting that I miss through sleep, work or other distractions.
