Umpires are instructed to take just as much notice of the quietest of appeals.

Good challenging score set by England. Loving it.

What is the point of Chris Jordan every time i've watched him play he's been carted all over the place

20 overs bowled so we must get a result

SA ahead of D/L........we could do with some wickets in case it rains !

Perhaps he shouldn't be in the actual team and just bought on as a sub fielder...all the time.

Why is jordan even still getting picked.

in anther forum suggested 2 games ago that Taylor should replace Jordan.
If they want a bowler Finn when he is fit or Broad in this tour but personally don't think they need the extra bowling option when Finn is not fit.
TBH I have no idea what broad doing in SA.
in reality player like him should either be in the starting 11 in a winter odi series or go home and have a rest.
should never be a bench player overseas.

Woeful display from England they'll chase those down for 0 loss

display not been that bad really.
They fixed the hard bit which is the batting they generally batted in the wrong tempo for odi, now they bat 50 overs they get 320+.
Now they need to fix the easy bit which is bowling.
Morgan a very aggressive captain generally picks bowlers and tries to take wicket at all times but needs to find a way to choke teams with the ball.

Rashid...not bad at all.

Moeen Ali had a poor game with the ball.

Agree. Eng batted superbly again today. (And so did SA). Im of the opinion that in ODI cricket since the 2015 WC England have been the best side at batting in world cricket. For example the recent ODI series between Aus & NZ on flatter easier wickets than the two we've just played on have produced lower scores.

But i dont quite agree fixing our bowling is "the easy bit". We're still miles away from a bowling line up that can win a 50 over tournament, although a fully fit Finn and Mark Wood would improve things considerably. We need a proper strike bowler to get early wickets and much much better death bowlers. As today showed, a seam attack of Willey, Topley and Jordan needs over-par Eng batting scores to give us any chance.

England lost it with two run outs.

Surely Jordan will be left out of the next ODI

Or is he the latest Jade Dernbach, a player that nobody wants in the team but who continues to get picked no matter how many runs they go for

they added broad to the squad after finn and plunkett had to withdraw , doesn't make alot of sense for him to be sitting watching whilst jordan gets carted all over

i know england dont like changing a winning team but even during the first couple of games jordan's bowling was poor, in the 10 overs he bowled in the 2 games he conceded 90 runs and in game 2 wasn't even brought on to bowl until the 32nd over despite being picked a specialist bowler

T20 World Cup squad announced:

Quote:
“Uncapped off-spinner Liam Dawson has been included in England's squad for the World Twenty20 in India next month.

All-rounder Chris Woakes has been left out but pace bowler Steven Finn has been selected for the tournament, which begins on 8 March.”

I don't understand why Luke Wright can't get in the T20 squad?

because every time he has played for england he fails

he has over 100 caps between the two limited overs formats so not like he hasn't been given a chance

I'm not Woakes biggest fan but I would have him over Jordan

Opinions I guess

Joakes or Wordan are both weak options with the ball.

I don't rate Jordan much in the longer-forms, but he's an alright performer at T20, where fielding is pretty important.
