Wonder how long Amla will stay Captain

All the comms seem to be mentioning his odd decision making

Now AB has got rid of the gloves, he may be a better option

Typically I took Stokes out of a Fantasy cricket side I do...knew he'd get a big one.

Unfortunately I overslept this morning and it looks like I missed a lot of fun in the first hour.

Poor from Englands middle order so far

Will Stokes tone it down or play his usual attacking innings , I wonder
I posted the above just as Stokes came to the wicket

Hasn't toned it down too much...

Stokes decided to play a T20 innings in the middle of a test match!

Who would have expected before the series South Africa to be dominated on their own patch?!

they are a team very much in transition and steyn is a huge loss, philander as well has a fantastic record at home, but before the series they were bragging about their depth in pace bowling

Just saw this question on Cricinfo:

"Can Stokes get the fastest double ton in Tests?

Nathan Astle the fastest at present off 153 balls at Christchurch in 2001-02. At the very least, if he makes a double ton, he should beat the English record for fastest double ton - Botham's 200 off 220 v India in 1982. " Even he will have to go some from here ... but whatever. Bring it on!

Stokes currently is 146* off 134 balls

Edit: Make that 152* off 135

Earlier on , the SA commentors were talking about Morkel having 'missed out' on 10 wickets due to them being called no-balls

I think Rabada could do the same. He looks mighty close to the line on every ball

271/5 when the new ball was taken

487/5 off 107 overs makes it 216 off 27 overs

Now we know why Amla never took the 2nd new ball in the 1st Test
