Fair point - the way he and Bairstow are going they will have a chance to really crack on.

if these two stay in and keep going the way they are i think we will declare 45 minutes or so before tea , would be over 600 by then and with the time left it would give cook the option of batting again to rest the bowlers should SA get near the follow-on score

hard to say just how good this pitch is , there have been chances, but stokes has just put the bowlers under so much pressure that they are all over the place

Typically I took Stokes out of a Fantasy cricket side I do...knew he'd get a big one.
Assuming he finishes top scorer, he has 602 points so far.........

Sorry

is durham in yorkshire now ?

edit : just thinking about it, this is probably the fewest players yorks have had in the test team for awhile
More Notts players than Yorkshire.

It's sessions like this which cause cricketing history books to be thrown out and rewritten.

i think dale steyn has lost one of his records today that he wont be unhappy about

morris has overtaken him as the highest runs conceded by a south african seamer on debut

just going to fall short of the 200 runs in a session , SA have only bowled 25 overs tho, having to fetch it from over the boundary so often does slow things down

Only 10 more needed for the 300 partnership.

A fair few records here I bet.

Brilliant innings so far by Stokes and hope Bairstow gets to his 100. England in brilliant position now.

I agree with Beefy. Over in 4 days with England taking 20 wickets.

Nevermind - always a risk.

Finn might take 8 wickets or something in the SA innings.

I was hoping Ali might get a bat and sore a few but seems unlikely..
