Where are the doom and gloom merchants now ? Same place as the "how the hell does Chris Jordan get picked" brigade. We won't hear from them until the opposition are batting in the final.

Well done England. Excellent performance and they've done very well this tournament...... Especially seeing as a few here thought they may not even beat Afghanistan

Wow, 2.5 overs to spare, sounds like a dominant performance from England. Looking forward to watching the highlights tonight.

Absolutely thrilled that England have made it to the final, I'm still pissed off that they didn't play this team at the 50 over World Cup last year though, all these players could have been playing like this in Australia.

there was a few good post on another forum on him.
Roy and Jordan.

Two players who have really improved in this tournament.
we knew roy could do this but jordan didnt really have much previous

he has been incredibly good the last two or three games, he has proven the selectors right and pretty much everyone else on the planet that watches cricket wrong
Someone kidnapped him and brought in a look a like... you heard it here first

Great to hear that they've made it through to the final. Once again Morgan as the Jonah in the batting. I dreamt last night he resigned and KP came back in his place ah well if only dreams came true eh ...

yeah that was a big wasted opportunity , and the most annoying thing was following the 2011 world cup we didn't learn anything and ended up making the same mistakes again going into 2015

on the bright side the majority of this team will still be around and arguably hitting their peak by the time the next one comes around

Wow, just wow!

Did anyone write after 10 overs of the NZ innings that England would win with three overs to spare?!!

Bit lucky that Stokes' full-tosses went straight down the fielders throats which reduced England's target, but nothing lucky at all about the batting!

Biggest pity of them all is there aren't 1000's of the Barmy Army in the crowd, although the Indian fans are fantastic it takes something away when your own team's supporters are sparse. Judging by the flags and the shirts, there must be about 500 there?

Well it would help if BCCI/ICC sold the tickets months or year before the game and not weeks before the game.
impossible for anyone to travel for the game.

Yes the captain still a problem - probably cemented his place though by reaching the final.

if i had the pick i'd take the WI

think india are a better balanced team and wont be easy playing them in front of 70,000 home fans at eden gardens

Trouble is with advance tickets is you cant' guarantee which ground your team will be at in the semi's if they get there, whether it's 20 or 50 overs. No idea how you get round that, it's all due to how you finish in the R/R.

Meanwhile, back here, on the assumption that pubs will more likely than not be showing the football on Sunday, and as there's no way it will be FTA I think Sky and the ECB need to get the message out that anyone with wifi can watch the game if they go out and buy a cheap NowTV box from Argos - they are about £20 right?? - and I understand they come with a couple of free day-passes for the sport, or just the £6.99 on your laptop/pc. That needs to be flogged to death, huge opportunity that Sky/Now could take. That's one area where Sky scores over BT.

West Indies for me too. I think they've peaked already this tournament whilst India are on the ascent

Still can't quite believe that England have made the final from the position they were in after one and a half games. Having been comprehensively beaten by a Gayle inspired Windies and then thrashed around the park to the tune of 229 runs by South Africa I wonder what the in play odds were for England to reach the final!

Who's more likely to get injured between now and Sunday? Does Gayle like a good night out with a few beers...maybe he'd like a few more...

Agree think india vs WI will decide the final really.
if india win think India will win the trophy, if WI win think England wins the trophy.

Yes, and NZ were due a defeat (although not that heavy!). Worry about facing WI would be if our bowler's heads aren't in the right place if Gayle starts to hit them long and high early again. But even so, if WI bat first I fancy England to chase anything down just now.
