Would have Finn ahead of Willey right now.
not really sure about willey yet not sure he can be a 3rd seam option in Test cricket. to be a 3rd bowler you have to really offer something with the ball. Plus Mark wood was ok in the winter so would probably be 4th in the pecking order and then Plunkett and then Jack brooks. |

Fantastic stuff - the team are showing such great confidence and form they will feel comfortable playing either India or the West Indies.

T-20 is very much the 'third' form of the game for me and as I only have Freeview I have not commented on this thread recently but I just wanted to say what a great performance that was by England and throughout the tournament after a very dodgy start.
Good luck on Sunday lads.

I think the elation of us actually having a limited overs side that if anything are brilliantly (slightly) overachieving has gone to peoples heads. Guessing from cricinfo stats it looks like Willey isnt a regular selection for Northants 4-day side in County Div2. Just 5 matches in 2015 for Willey brought 14 wkts at 36.5 avg. A better 2014 though, 8 matches in Div1 with 19 wkts at 27.1 When he swings it he's quality but when there's no swing who knows if he's got any other tools, because he just looks very medium pace up & down. Today he only bowled 2 overs up, first up when a chance of some swing. 2016 should reveal all, assuming Willey is selected as 3rd or 4th seamer at Yorks |

How many of the team who played today will be in the XI for the First Test which isn't that far away? Thinking they're in form, full of beans and confidence, can good 20/20 players really not hack it at Test level?
Root/Stokes/Ali guaranteed of course, Buttler's out of the squad and in the IPL which is massively disapponting for England/Lancashire fans, who else should be given a go? |

Interesting comment here from the journalist. Quote:
It's all well and good bellowing for change, but who are the alternates? And the answer is… well… we don't really know. Because away from Kate Cross, Fran Wilson and Lauren Winfield, there are but a handful of players in the wings. The player pool, as Robinson has stated, is not competitive enough. http://www.espncricinfo.com/icc-wome...ry/993189.html
But at the moment, it looks like England are contractually obliged not to look beyond their centrally contracted. And until they are brave enough - or even allowed - to do so, it is unlikely that things will change. |

Cannot be doing with all the trolling Mimi. How anyone can call England's bowlers imbeciles shows a total lack of any cricketing knowledge and only on here for a wind up
i know i can be critical at times but i usually try to back up my criticisms it is funny how you just know that certain posters will appear when we have a little bad spell in a game |

Run lines 182-188.
Even money point around 170. Market giving india around 12-15 run advantage which is ridiculous. think the even money point should be around 190. |

Rahane playing in home ground, with his fielding and batting is great for India. He keeps the board ticking. And can hit big sixes for a small man. Loving his inclusion.

West Indies have been very poor in the field which surprises me
Think they may have let India get 20 too many |

All depends on a certain chris Gayle now. If he bats all the way through you would expect West Indies to win.
