Quick quiz - there are five previous British DL winners, of which only one woman. Can you name them?

Oops, correct that - six winners, two women.

Yellow card, thank god.

Unfortunately he'd have been better off getting a red in the end.

Robbie Grabarz won the HJ in 2012 IIRC.

Strictly speaking, it's only since 2010, it was the Golden League back in the olden days, they always got given those giant bars of chocolate in the shape of ingots.

Good second place for Ofili, there, think there are good things coming for her next season now that she is out of the NCAA grind.

Pedestrian run from Kendra, but another solid outing from Tiff's younger sister.

Yeah, that is one. Just before Barshim and Bondarenko hit their peaks and Jesse Williams was going into a slump.

OT

When I started watching it was the Golden 4, first hour used to be on Channel 4 before switching over to ITV. Back then a sub 10 clocking was something to write home about!

I'm sure I remember Greg Rutherford winning the DL at least once because I remember it being included in the 'complete set' of titles he'd won.

A bit more of a guess, Tiff Porter? Did she grab the DL title one year.

The Woman should be easy given we can rule out all the field events bar maybe the long jump and the sprints.

Jenny Meadows is the only one I can think of who might fit the bill.

Jenny won in 2011 - there is actually another woman I didn't spot first time.

Do you think outside of the Olympics and the World Championship that Zurich is the next most important event on the calendar

It still attracts the biggest names. The real golden age of Zurich was the Olympic boycott era in the 1980s. Brussels always has the bigger crowds though.

...and traditionally, the Swiss drop the baton.

Your British DL winners in full

2011: Dai Greene, Phillips Idowu, Jennie Meadows
2012: Robbie Grabarz
2014: Shara Proctor
2015: Greg Rutherford.

So if Eilidh makes it a double next week, it'll be a pretty good achievement

That would be the one. Was just going to mention Philips Idowu. 3/6, just about respectable.

Funnily enough, we never once won the Golden League, but that was a different format, you had to go the whole season unbeaten, not just consistent top-3 like now. There were even a couple of years when someone got a $1,000,000 jackpot, would you believe?
