The commentary is getting drowned out by the stadium noise.

Pretty shallow bank to the track compared with most.
Clemens out! Shock already. Was in trouble right from the break. |

I see someone went to the trouble of getting an IAAF tattoo on their shoulder.
After that start in the hep 60m, Eaton probably won't break his WR (early days though). Some of the 400m PBs shown are from outdoors and therfore misleading. |

Fastest qualifier in the 400m was Qatari junior Abdalelah Haroun in 46.15.
----- As the pen high jump gets underway, here's a factoid for you - the pen 60mH WB still belongs to JEH (7.91 in Istanbul 2012). |

Fastest qualifier in the 400m was Sudanese 23-year old Abdalelah Haroun in 46.15.
Fixed that for you. Actually these flatter tracks create more opportunities for passing and last-second upsets than your traditional narrow european ones. |

You forgot to use the quote function.
![]() Salcia Slack (JAM) failed at her opening height, so her pentathlon is basically done. ----- After leading for most of that 400m heat, Kabange Mupopo (ZAM) missed out on a top-2 spot but produced a 52.72 NR nonetheless. Norwood DQ'd for lane infringement! |

Those photographers near the long jump pit are acquiring a taste for finely ground rocks whether they like it or not.
![]() ----- Christina Francisco (GUM) with a NR...of 1:00.08. (Yes, that's a minute.) |

Jamaican's own fault, I reckon. White not a good colour for women planning to run in bikini briefs, makes you look like you have forgotten your shorts.

More 400m shenanigans as Chrisann Gordon (JAM) finishes out of the race - winning time a very slow 54.25.
----- Lake opens at 1.79m. How high can she go? |

Random piece of commentary on live results site at 19:21: Quote:
Not sure what that music just was, but it was annoying. Fortunately they've turned it off.
-----That was quite the turn of pace by Kejelcha in that 3,000m heat. After making the 5,000m final last year, Farrell's chances of making this one don't look good. |

Ndiku fell! He still has a chance of qualifying though...5th behind Emanuel, so no automatic qualification but he's still a fastest loser.
7:53.18 SB for Emanuel. Farrell didn't qualify. |

800m up now, should have been featuring Michael Rimmer, of course. He would surely have made mincemeat of this Afghan and Andorran.

First 400m in that heat - 58 seconds. Winning time 1:52.16 XD
Lake cleared 1.88m in leggings. She's on her own now. |

National Indoor Record for the Afghan! They'll be dancing in the streets of Kabul, I tell you.

Are "Still a Junior" Morgan Lake's middle names.
![]() That men's 800m qualification is a bit savage. I'm sure Rimmer would've aced it though... |

She finishes at 1.88m, so I doubt the WJR will go unless (perhaps) she aces her shot put and long jump.
I'm sure she had a PB in there somewhere... ----- Not long 'til the men's 60m heats... |

Well that whole "rediscovering my roots" thing went well for Sean!

And Sean Safo-Antwi finds out the hard way that it's no good signing up for your paternal country if they won't stump up the airfare.

Third heat - Bromell in 6.57 (RT 0.142)
Nwaba's reaction to that 15m pen shot put PB (what's she's thinking anyway) - 'Did I really throw it 15m?!' |
