Wonder how long she'll have to wait until her medal here gets upgraded? "rolls eyes"

Second men's 1,500m heat much faster than the first, so all three fastest losers came from the former. In second place, Chris O'Hare qualified for the final by right.

Interesting analysis of Dasaolu's foot placement (on the blocks) by Toni Minichiello.”

Enjoyed' Toni's commentary. Shame for Dasaolu

This is the longest period of unbroken shot put coverage I've ever seen on the BBC.

Apparently the netting superstructure and distance markers are now under attack from shot puts as well.

Long jumpers fouling as often as they did in Beijing last year.

This is quite the field event fest we're watching right now.

Spanovic opens her campaign with 7 metres dead (NR/WL)! Reese opens with 6.97m SB.

Tom Walsh 21.60m AR in the shot put!

These shot put markers are taking a lot of abuse. XD

Fastest qualifier in the women's 400m semis is Adekoya with a 51.47 AR.

Walsh improves his AR to 21.64m

Taplin wins first men's 400m semi in 45.38, with a bit in the tank. CR in the final?

Sawyers out after three rounds.

Walsh seals his first world indoor title with a 21.78 AR/WL! Five throws 21.40m or better - that's great consistency, and no doubt a boost for Queen Valerie.

Pentathlon women running together in a single 800m heat in a few minutes.

BTE wins the 800m in a fast 2:09.99 - and she's won the pentathlon with 4881 AR/WL! What a way to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat!!

Lake finishes with 4499

Reese improves to 7.00m SB, Ugen to 6.93m =NR, and now Spanovic to 7.07m NR/WL!!

What a run by BTE! What a win!

Reese final jump - 7.22m WL!! Bloody hell!

And she takes the title, like Bartoletta did in Beijing 2015! Silver for Spanovic, bronze for Ugen

Ugen gets bronze!

Reese's final jump = 7.22m

Looks like it's just two of us here

What's your prediction for the women's 60m hurdles? Any hope for Porter or Solomon?
Edward_Sloley

No chance for Solomon. If anyone can deny the hosts a clean sweep, it'll be Talay or Porter.

I'm backing Rollins for the win.

Women's 60mH final - defending champion Nia Ali in 7.81 SB!

Rollins silver in 7.82, Porter bronze in 7.90!

That's three WICh 60mH medals in succession for Porter.

Judging by the gimmicks, you wouldn't know there's a men's 60m final to come. At all.

Powell, Collins and Bracy for the men's 60m medals for me. The Chinese kid may get in the mix.

Men's 60m final - Trayvon Bromell in 6.47 PB! Powell...was being Powell, as usual. XD

He gets the silver in 6.50, Gittens gets the bronze in a 6.51 NR. Final was as tight as 2014, but 2 hundredths quicker.

My prediction was totally wrong

What's wrong with Powell? He could have won that easily if he ran the full race. He messed up in the middle section of the race.

IAAF tweet:
Quote:
“First time in history that all eight men have gone 6.56 or quicker in a 60m race.”
