Thought I would do some predictions for this weekend:-

Women's 100m = Dina focusing on 200 so difficult to see anything other than Desiree Henry winning. Should be a good battle for 2nd between Asha, Daryl Neita & Imani Lansiquot. I think Asha will run better than she has so far this season & may just sneak 2nd spot.
1. Desiree Henry 2. Asha Philip 3. Daryl Neita

Men's 100m = Ujah & Dasaolu favourite for 2 qualifying spots. Ellington has been in decent form and may actually stand a better chance of getting selected in 100. CJ & Ellington are in same semi along with Edoburun who has not made progress I hoped this year so far. Kilty may also be a factor but has not looked that great this year.
1. Dasaolu 2. Ujah 3. Ellington

Women's 200 = Sadly with exception of Dina & Desiree others all off form or coming back from injury so not quite quality event it could have been.
1. Dina 2. Desiree 3. Jodie Williams

Men's 200m = A few weeks ago this looked to be event of the champs hence why it was put on timetable as final event. Storyline has changed but still an intriguing & uber competitive event. NMB in sub 20 form but cramp at NCAA champs derailed his fantastic season somewhat. However if it's just cramp as reported should have no lasting effects. Gemili had a slow start to the season but a 20.37 last week appears to have shaken off any race rust. After a cracking 2015 Zharnel has run a 100 PB but best time over 200 is 20.62 & not run for 6 weeks. Meanwhile Talbot been in good form, Ellington started off season with 2 20.3x times but more recently has run 20.6x and looked in better shape over 100. Ellington only protagonist to be doubling up which may also hinder him. You also sense Talbot & Ellington will have to be top 2 as selectors less likely to do them any favours when it comes to discretionary picks.
1. NMB 2. Gemili 3. Talbot

Women's 400m = Another competitive event. SBD, Onuora & Emily Diamond all running 51.xx regularly. PSD on way back but will do well to get qualifying time. Laviai Nielson looks on verge of sub 52 & of course TBO who could do anything good , bad or indifferent
1. SBD 2. Onuora 3. Laviai Nielsen

Men's 400m = Event not quite caught fire this year from a British perspective with brightest spot being MHS run at Birmingham Diamond League. Shame Delano pulled out after a reasonable 45.50 run earlier this Month.
1. MHS 2. Rooney 3. Rabah Yousif

Women's 800m = Another event with numerous qualifiers. Sharp looked on good form when trailing in wake of Hperandrogenous athletes on the circuit but looks a real bun fight for other p!aces
1. Sharp 2. Leonard 3. Meadows

Women's 5000m = 3 women have required qualifying times and Jo Pavey just outside it last week which could throw a spanner in the works if she finishes top 2. Hopefully Jo will go to Euros regardless of this weekend.
1. McColgan 2. Pavey 3. Twell

Men's 5000m = In the absence of Mo 4 athletes will fight it out for remaining 2 places. Butchart looks in best form, Farrell has run a decent 1500 recently & Vernon will want top 2 as he's another who won't want to rely on a selectors pick which he may not get.
1. Butchart 2. Farrell 3. Vernon

Women's 100 hurdles = Battle of the Ofili-Porter sisters. Will little sis finally triumph this weekend? Serita Solomon has qualifiers from last year but largely MIA this year & Lucy Hatton running out of time to qualify.
1. Cindy Ofili 2. Tiff Porter 3. Lucy Hatton

Men's 110 hurdles = Pozzi has had a welcome return to form & fitness & Lawrence Clark has shown decent form too. Sharman & David King close to QT & will be desperate to dip under it this weekend
1. Pozzi 2. Clark 3. Sharman

Men's 400 hurdles = Jack Green looks in best shape this year & ready to run sub 49 again. Flannery has QT from last year but off the pace & not run sub 50 yet this year. Rhys Williams has 1 qualifier but as inconsistent as ever. Dai Greene in encouraging form in his return & will be looking to run QT or close to it.
1. Jack Green 2. Dai Greene 3. Rhys Williams

Women's Long Jump = No Lorraine Ugen so leaves Proctor & Sawyers to fight it out with the latter aiming for a 2nd qualifier to guarantee selection.
1. Sawyers 2. Proctor 3. Emerson

Men's Hammer = Nick Miller in good form & won NCAA title earlier this Month. Mark Dry & Chris Bennett a little short of tough 77m qualifying mark but currently in line for an IAAF invite subject to British Athletics accepting of course.
1. Miller 2. Bennett. 3. Dry

Werent there supposed to be any nerws about Dibaba yesterday?
In Noirway news they wrote that one Qatari/Sudanese 800 guy (Balla?) was already out of Rio?
I think the IAAF said they'd know the results of the Sabadell tests this Friday past. Of course, if she tests negative then there won't be any news from the IAAF about her.

This one feels a bit bold.

I don't see Steph losing this one. I reckon she'll wind it up with 4 or 5 laps to go and run the legs off the field. Her recent 2:02 800 shows she's got closing speed that's significantly superior to the others. Jo Pavey has been in no kind of form this year so I'd only take her for 4th (though I hope she goes to Amsterdam too.) McColgan & Whittle will be battling for the 2nd automatic spot.

Dai Greene will be honing his analysis skills in Rio. 2nd in his heat but not quick enough to progress to the final.

Withdrew with a virus. I'd say that's her done now what with the amount of others challenging for spots.

Off we go on the Red Button...looks like the BBC are going to do it properly, no blethering and no annoying pitch side race presentations. Unfortunately we are going to Glasto at 16:00 so will miss RimmerTime in the 800m heats,

Seen Daryl Neita race a few times this season. Looks promising. But then again they all do early on I suppose. Let's see if I'm saying the same in about four years.

Does seem that way. The Women's 400 is serious business now. Shame they didn't show the heats.

We more of this Osewa chap. Tries to run in other peoples lanes, gets tangled up with them and then has another go near the line. Then afterwards gets unreasonably agitated about the whole affair.

Perhaps we could use him in the 4x100 squad.

Ellington really seems to have stepped up his 100m sprinting. Always thought of him as a 200m sprinter.

I'm not usually a fan of people protesting, but Robertson should totally protest. Osewa definitely impeded him by running into his lane.

But, as a viewer, I think Osewa's likely to place better than Robertson would have done. If he can stay in his lane.

Great to see Asha regaining her form.

The Bauhaus Juniorengala is taking place in Mannheim this weekend - it's the premier junior T&F circuit meet, second only to the World U20 Championships.

Wonder whether DAS will do the 100 in Rio or whether Henry will get the nod

Desiree Henry run out of the Olympic team in the 100? Presuming DAS is intending to do the 100 in Rio?

Edit: Just beaten to it by Fiercefanatic.

Wow, looks like Henry ran too quick in the earlier rounds. Great to see Philip back, plus happy for Neita too, but gutted for Henry. The talent is there but I guess there's more to it than that. You have to get it right when it counts.

I hope that DAS concentrates on the 200m and Henry makes the 100m team. I think Henry should be selected over her even if she does want to double, unless DAS drops another sub-11 soon.
