Following her 6.63m (+1.2m/s) long jump PB, JEH threw 44.37m in the javelin.

In the 800m, she'll need to run 2:13.81 for 6700, or 2:09.25 for a WL.

Provided there are no setbacks between now and Rio, a successful defense of her Olympic title is a genuine possibility.

Good solid 15 minutes of blethering there, well done all, quality work! Let's see NBC or ZDF try to match that.

NBC probably could if they weren't so many adverts.

No surprises in the women's 400mH final - Doyle in 54.93.

It was all very insightful and I think we learned a great deal.

*cough* I may have gone and made a cup of tea during most of it.

Good race in the mens 400h. Seb Rodger looks a bit fast and loose, and I'm starting to like Jack Green after seeing him run a few times this season.

As for Rhys Williams. Perhaps he needs some more potent supplements.

Such a shame that the Euro Champs are being treated as something to be avoided if at all possible. They're a great event in their own right.

I swear that British Men's 800 running gets worse with every year. Dreadful.

Crammy calls it again. "Rimmer looking comfortable." Finishes' 3rd and looked terrible.

Ace Rimmer, how we all love you.

I hope Seb Coe was watching. What a dreadful event.

Rimmer's flop in the Olympic heats is now in jeopardy.

The 'mid-cycle' editions are.
The Olympic-year editions, not so much.

Looks like this women's 3000m steeplechase is going to be red hot.

Not sure about the excuses Andrew and Paula are peddling about the event. It's been around 20 years now.

Lennie Waite is Scottish, right?

The Olympic-year editions, not so much.
But even in Olympic years all the other countries send pretty much a full-strength team to the Euros. British Athletics and many British athletes seem to stand alone in treating the Euros with some disdain in Olympic years.

Guess the questions around Zharnel have been answered. He doesn't look good at all.

Paula: Do you finish in the Top 2 if you're disqualified?

Erm ... no?

It was a good race and well done to Rosie Clarke. An impressive switch of event.

However the "expert" view of Paula that Waite would pull away inthe last couple of laps to win easily well......

Wonder who the selectors will choose now... NMB based on early form this year or Hughes based on last years achievements?

If Mitchell-Blake can show any fitness over the next couple of weeks they have to take him, he has enormous potential.

Disappointed that the Brazilian beauties don't seem to be around today.

Well done Charlie, shove that other bloke out of the way. We don't want Tom in the Rio 1500m...

I wonder what they'd be saying if it was the other way around?

The result was good one. Rosie looked up for it and deserved the win. Lennie looked a bit ponderous to me.

Great win for Andrew Pozzi, if anyone deserves a run of good luck it is him. And always good to have a man who knows how to conduct himself in a top hat in the team.

So farewell then, Chris Tomlinson...sad that he became a bit of a joke in later years, but he is like a mirror universe version of Greg Rutherford, he just was never able to be consistent in the big events.

Born in Scotland but clearly must have been in America for a long time and are her parents American?

I had no idea he was that slow. 13.31 is his PB!

...and they're lauding him as the next Messiah?
