Don't see a repeat of 2012 when Blake beat Bolt to both sprints. Who claims the 2 other spots behind Bolt are up for grabs. Blake & Powell probably the favourites. For someone who is so mentally fragile Powell does have an incredible record of making Jamaican teams. Likes of Ashmeade can't be ruled out.
Shelly-Ann's form will be interesting. Thompson will be favourite for both sprints. Shelly-Ann will probably have enough for the 100 to make team but she will need to start dropping her time if she wants to win that 3rd Olympic Gold. I wonder if she'll even bother with 200?”

Ashmeade definitely can't be ruled out after he beat Powell and Blake at the Racers Grand Prix. Zika virus has hindered Bailey-Cole's prep too. Who knows what we will see?
I don't think SAFP will end up bothering. Based on what I've seen this season, I could see VCB finishing ahead of her in the 100m too.
One solid prediction I'll make is that Janieve Russell beats Kaliese Spencer to the national title.
