Live results from Stockholm are available.

Turns out the 1,000m is actually eligible for records, and Souleman produced a 2:14.20 WR!

Ugen was the best of the Brits in the women's long jump with a 6.71m SB - she took second place behind Estonian Ksenija Balta (6.76m SB).

No WB in the men's 500m, but Mark English won it with an Irish best of 1:00.93 (also a WL, unsurprisingly).

Nikoléta Kiriakopoúlou (GRE) wins the women's pole vault with a 4.81m NR.

Spoke too soon about the men's 500m - there was another heat to come. With a 59.83 clocking, Haroun has clocked the first ever sub-60 race indoors!

Melissa Bishop (CAN) wins the women's 800m with a 2:00.60 NR.

It's 3 for 3 in Sweden - with a clocking of 4:13:31, Dibaba has destroyed the indoor mile WR!! (1,500m split - 3:56.27!)

Majestic Melissa!

More from Athlone ...

Decent runs by Adelle Tracey (2:02.3) and Leah Barrow (2:03.8). I'd say that this year Adelle should be our next sub-2 runner (unless Laura beats her to it.)

Nancy Chepkwemoi 4:08.4 followed by Krause 4:09.5; Alison Leonard 4th in 4:11.2.
For those who follow Mary Cain's somewhat strange career, she finished 6th in 4:13.4 which is actually one of her better performances of the last 18 months.

Rimmer back on the top step of the podium outdipping Learmonth in 1:48.1.

Maslak 46.06, Chris Brown 46.96 (first race of the year for both)

Caistlin 7.94, Nelvis 8.10 & Yasmin Miller 8.32 in the 60H heats; Final still to come.

Men's PV ongoing. Barber clear at 5.77. Kendricks to try and match him.

Wow! But so annoying that I couldn't find a working stream. Dunno why ES didn't cover it.

The way the Athlone comms are going on about Dawit Wolde's (ETH) 3:54.02 mile, you'd think he'd done a Dibaba...it was a very good run, but not that good. (That said, it's also another NR, apparently - comms gave Jon Mulkeen credit on TV, which is a first AFAIK.)

Cheers. She can shift, that's for sure.

Thought there might be some tubes available esp. since Dibaba got another record but the best i could get was this:

Should be more vids up by this time 2mmrw.

PS Good to see Mary Cain posted a fast-ish time. Maybe she's still in transition or as she put's it "growing pains". Looking at how relatively late G. Dibaba developed, Cain's best days should still be ahead of her.

I was the EA Champs this weekend and it was a pretty good event and some good performances! I've written a little post of my experience there so if you have a spare minute check it out!

Yeah, I'd like to see her fulfill her potential. Simpson & Rowbury won't be around for many more years and we need other nations challenging the stranglehold that the Africans/ex-Africans seem to be taking on the W 1500 in the last couple of years.
I'm also rooting for Alexa Efraimson to do something special - 4:03.4 last year at age 18 and 4:12 indoors this year. I hope she can have a smoother transition from the juniors than Mary has had.

Some good results out of Oz overnight.

Brooke Stratton - 6.94m in the LJ
Ella Nelson - 22.53s in the 200m

Nelson has been training with Jodie Williams in Arizona so hope some of that good form rubs off.

Live results are on the UKA website.

Omar Craddock wins the men's triple jump with 16.93m, which is a stadium record.

W60m first heat - Schippers wins it in 7.11

Michelle-Lee Ahye and Elaine Thompson clock 7.14 to qualify as well
Edward_Sloley
20-02-2016
W60m second heat - DAS in 7.17

Swoboda 7.21, Pierre 7.24 also qualify; Henry (7.26 SB) and Horn (7.28) also through as fastest losers

Kszczot showed the field a clean pair of heels in that men's 800m - he'll have wildcard entry to the WICh.

Stadium records aplenty today - 1:46.23 is no exception.

Stephanie Ann McPherson takes the women's 400m in 52.05 after a tussle with Seren Bundy-Davies (52.10) - that could have been messy.

Just started watching. Non-competitive 800 and the brits ran badly. Aman wouldn't have changed the result if he stayed on his feet.

I think this Brazilian pole vaulter will flop in the Olympics. There'll be way too much pressure on him.

Impressive and encouraging by Bundy-Davies there.

I think Simpson is done as a major medallist at 1500 but I still think Rowbury has a chance if she steps up to 5000 again and trains exclusively for that. Probably won't happen this year though.

Surely the 1:46:50 qualifying standard for the Men's 800m is too high? Only 7 men in the world have run it and there's only a week left til the cut off deadline.

Will the IAAF invite athletes from the world lists to make up quotas like they've started doing for the outdoor championships?

Abdelaati Iguider (MAR) took the men's 1,500m ahead of Souleiman quite emphatically there (3:34.94 WL/SR). Shawn Barber clears an all-comers record of 5.89m in the men's pole vault.

The qualifying window is from 1 Jan 2015 to 29 Feb 2016, but surely the ones who ran that time last year will mostly be the same people who have ran it this year?

M60mH first heat - Yordan O'Farrill in 7.63

Dimitri Bascou (7.64) and David King (7.86) also qualify
