Vaguely comical. Daf could win this blindfolded.

Second semi - Lalova-Collio in 11.26 (-0.4m/s), Pinto in 11.27. Pohrebnyak also clocked 11.27 but has to wait for a fastest loser spot.
That was as tight as the men's final. |

Third semi - Henry in 11.09 (+0.2m/s), Kambundji in 11.23
Let's see if Henry can actually replicate in a final this time. She didn't hold anything back. |

Desiree Henry, 11.09 very good indeed. And a great second for Kambundji who always does well when she isn't carrying anything.
Jaz Sawyers 6.25 in round 1 of the LJ, will need to do more. Still, beating Spanovic so far who NJed. |

As long as the sight of Big Daf blasting off in to the far distance doesn't freak her out, I reckon Desiree should get a medal, based off that heat.

Norwegian absolutely blew that coming off the bend...saw Jack Green hit the first hurdle so presume that was what did for him.

Is the entire Turkish athletics team just a bunch of Mercenaries?

Spanovic 6.94 in the LJ, everyone else might as well get the tram to Centraal Station. |

Turkey must have the largest team of athletes not born in Turkey - I have so many doubts over their athletes

Roooney!
I sometimes have my doubts about him, but that did look a smart run from him down that back straight. |

Hopefully take that into RIo - for the relay at least where we might have a chance to medal?

And the other thing is that they never compete outside of Turkey except at major champs. Very much following the traditional Russian and Greek formula.

At least that was when they were mostly all actual Turks, obviously they have changed tactics since then.
