Good win. Poor time!

After her 100mH performance (her slowest I think), there was essentially no chance of scoring 6200 for Olympic qualification, which is why she entered the ECh hep in the first place.

The Hep really hasn't been going well for Morgan Lake lately.

That's still the way with Bahrain & to a lesser extent, Qatar.

I've heard Coe talking about it as a problem. Now is the time for urgent action to drastically change the rules.

Ok well next Christine 400m what do we think. For me she either will win it or trail in last - so unpredictable!

Qatar do it a bit differently to be fair - they mostly get people in as teenagers and finance their training in return for their nationality.

Cachová RT 0.094, but she's not disqualified as it's a hep 200m.

In that same heat, Kasyanova RT 0.101, which is barely legal.

I was about to make a vaguely snide remark about Jasmin certainly having the enthusiasm, but being a tad on the short side for the long jump.

6.87 put me straight. That was something unexpected.

Tight hammy, better safe than sorry with her Rio spot in the HJ already assured.

Was watching today, there was another coach there, but Dad was doing all the talking during the HJ at least.

Lavillenie is surely not going to do it again, is he? Blustery stadium, we have been saying it since day 1.

Think Cuba should get an honorary place on the medals table, two golds tonight.

Will Christine do her trademark win/do well when it matters routine?

In a way its a shame that drugs saga damaged her reputation as she probably doesn't get the credit she deserves for a very good career.
