The daughter of Nat "King" Cole, has died at the age of 65.

Best remembered for her duets with her father, engineered after his passing.

But I like better some of her later work like this.

Oh sh*t!

That's awful news. A great singer, like her father but a very different style. Gone way too young.

RIP Natalie.

That's a shame.

Must admit, i don't often listen to her music so am not familiar with the majority of her work, but i do remember Unforgettable, & Miss You Like Crazy.

I also like this duet version of Route 66, with Diana Krall:

A great talent in her own right.

Rest in peace Natalie.

R.I.P. Natalie Cole

I echo everyone else's sentiments here. My parents loved that version of Unforgettable with both Nat King Cole and Natalie singing the song together.

As Jimmy put, she was a great talent in her own right. I am really shocked that she's passed away.

I've been listening to quite a few of her recordings recently too. I dug out a compilation with 'This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)' to listen to in the car only 2 weeks ago and her version of 'Jingle Bells' is one of my go-to Christmas tracks to cheer me up.

God rest Natalie Cole.

sad loss. ...

I know that she was known for her lineage and songs with her father ...but i knew due to her early pop songs - pink cadillac and wild women do .... and recently (in the last year) saw her on tv --- documentary about the duet album with Tony Bennett ....she so stood out alongside the formidable Amy... I thought she was wonderful... her voice was full of warmth, smokiness and character ..,then i saw her on sky art programme ...singing live for another reason and i was so impressed by again her own soulful smokiness ... so she seemed to find her voice again in recent years ...sad to loose her so early
