It says she died Thursday evening in LA, therefore she died in 2015 US Pacific Time.

Probably best known for her "posthumous" duets of jazz standards with her father the great Nat "King" Cole. But she was a great blues singer in her own right. This is one of my favourites. She had "perfect pitch" as did Sarah Vaughan. I love how "tight" are the backing vocalists with again perfectly pitched harmonies. But if you're singing with someone with this sort of talent, it encourages you to make a good job of it. A rather poignant song title in the circumstances.
