Kindle Fire/Amazon prime questions.
Hi,
First tablet I've ever had so forgive me if some of the questions are dumb,but.. Do i need to download any security package for browsing the web etc? When i get a film/tv show from Prime, is it downloaded and kept in my device?...Can i then watch it anywhere, or do i need wifi access? Or is it stored in the cloud?.. If i want to watch something on my TV from my device, is it a simple case of plugging it in via the usb? Thanks. |

The best option would be a wireless option like Chromecast. |

Some tablets have a separate hdmi port which allows you to connect tablet to tv directly,

I'm assuming the OP has a Kindle Fire 7.
Yeah of course. Note: you cannot natively chromecast from a kindle fire 7 though without adding google playstore and chromecast etc. using methods I outlined in other posts. |

Thanks for your replies.
Shame about not being able to watch movies on tv via the fire. Had thought that it would be a simple case of plugging it in with either the usb or even getting an hdmi adaptor. Cheers |
