Samsung put out another software update last week for my tv, Software version 002006.

This has screwed my tv somewhat eg, lock ups so i have to turn off the tv at the plug, bbci doesn't work properly now, juddery picture at times in places. 002005 did start to have issues with odd freezing & jumping of tv pictures onscreen.

This update has made things worse they used to update the software on this every couple of months but now it's twice a year.

My Samsung TV also has this new firmware now after I updated it a few days ago.

The only problem I am having at the moment is I cannot access digital text unless I remove internet access, then it gets the digital text via the TV signal rather than the internet.

Have you tried a factory reset?

This will revert it to basic factory settings on your latest firmware.

I don't know if it's still the same but I remember older Samsung TV's held the previous firmware on the TV that you could then revert back to if you needed to.

There is no option to do that on my Tv.

I have emailed Samsung support for advice.
