Trying to find a 1960's instrumental track

I've heard an instrumental track on the radio a few times. But I never caught what the name of the track and by which artist. It's a very uplifting catchy instrumental track. I think it was a big hit single, and was probably released in the mid to late 1960's. I've tried searching for it on YouTube but to no avail.

Anyone able to help me and let me know what this track could be?

Guitar or synth-led? It's probably either Telstar, Popcorn or something by The Shadows.

Thanks mate. Found it! It was Telstar by The Tornados. And was actually released in 1962. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=el9zA00dIhg

Great feel- good track! Makes me wish I could timewarp back to the 1960's!(which was a decade before my time!)

I knew what you were looking for as soon as you posted the message. The Joe Meek story has been on the TV recently, you might have heard it on that.

They made Telestar in his house.

Not quite his house, a flat above a handbag shop which he rented (maybe if he had bought his own place to make records in things may have not ended so terribly)
