How do you know how long ago the break-up happened? There is no evidence that it happened on / around the final. It could have happened weeks ago and if so it was respectful and professional that he only posted it after the show had ended. I would also assume that Georgia was happy for him to do so.

You cannot expect to express yourself as repulsively as you have and not get called on it. The irony is its not even just that, there's a very nasty undertone to the comments reflecting attitudes, that are not going to find much approval.

I was responding to the post which said Giovanni was tweeting because he was so happy. It seems strange to me, if that was indeed the case, to share your happiness with the twitterati when it was the result of someone being dumped. But, as you say, perhaps it's not so strange when people like Georgia and Giovanni choose to share their feelings with the world - whether those feelings are real or made up to sell a story, who knows.

Tbh nothing that people choose to share on social media these days surprises me. Some live their lives very publicly on there and some are very private. Different strokes for different folks and all that.

Yes, true enough. It's not something I like particularly but I am an old fart with very old fashioned views about marriage/relationships/treating your partner with a little caring and respect.

I think it's a bit obvious Sean & Georgia broke up after the final just before Christmas as they both went a bit quiet on Twitter around the 20th December. Sean was also at the final I doubt he'd be there cheering his ex on & the guy who "stole" his gf off him & giving them standing ovations if he had been dumped before this or even had an inkling something was going on between the two of them.
Only Georgia & Giovanni knew they had feelings for each other but she probably didn't want to tell Sean until the show ended because of all the attention & negativity it will bring. No one's to blame you can't help who you fall for at the end of the day just Sean's bad luck Giovanni & Georgia got partnered up together & ended up falling for each other.

Firstly, Giovanni wasn't in a relationship with anyone. It looks like Georgia has been silent on the matter on Twitter - so I'm not sure where caring and respect comes into the equation here.
Secondly, there is little caring or respect towards other people when you make assumptions about their life and circumstances.

What if he constantly harangued and berated her from jealousy and pushed her away? So that she found solace with someone with whom she was spending a lot of pleasant time?
