Can't speak for Mandylou but I would personally call Georgia a 24 year old girl & Gio a 25 year old lad, which is not dissimilar to boy.... it's an age thing, nothing sinister!

When you get to my age 24 year olds of whatever gender are babes in arms. So yes they are boys & girls in my book.
Why so pendantic?
Your point exactly?
Blimey, just asking a question!

She'll be engaged to him next month and onto the next bloke by 2017.

As aside, not liking her new browny blonde hair. Much preferred her black hair.

She's just a young girl (aged 24 who has been in the show business world for about 10 years) - sweet and innocent, give her a break

Or you could quite easily drop the sarcasm & leave it at she's a young girl/lass/woman of 24!! That's all this thread has ever really needed to know!!
She's no more or less sweet & innocent than any other pretty young girl/woman her age, just a 24 year old living her life in the way 24 year olds do!!
Only difference is she currently has media cameras shoved in her face everywhere she goes!!

Aren't the appreciation threads for the "she can do no wrong" kind of posts and threads over here for where people are allowed to be honest?

In what part of my post have I said she can do no wrong????

I have said the only difference between her & other pretty 24 year old girls/women (and I mention pretty only because being pretty gives her more opportunities to change boyfriends et al which is what this thread started off being about) is that she's living her life in the glare of the media!!
I categorically state she is no more or no less 'sweet & innocent' than any other girl her age!!
Where is the dishonesty in that? It's the situation as I see it!!

Georgia denies a ring spotted on her finger is an engagement ring:

And milking it for all its worth - not unusual for an actress of course - it does make me wonder how genuine she is, or anyone is, who regularly dumps the loves of their lives when the next opportunity comes along.

Not sure what you mean by the first sentence? Are you suggesting she actually likes having Daily Fail reporters following her around with cameras in her face every time she walks down the street or goes into a shop, complete with twenty articles a day, all accompanied by troll comments, you could be right I suppose!
As for genuine, I don't know her personally so I couldn't comment but I have been really good mates with a fair few pretty 24 year old girls in my time who have behaved exactly like Georgia before eventually settling down with Mr Right!! They were some of the loveliest people you could wish to meet, which is entirely what I'm basing my opinions on! As I say I don't know Georgia personally so can only go on experience of people who remind me of her!!

She put a photo of herself and Giovanni on Instagram. No crime in that of course but it is encouraging attention to be drawn to their relationship.

I don't know her either. I just wonder how genuine she is, that's all.

Of course there's no crime in that, in fact there's nothing wrong with it at all. They shouldn't be put off posting pictures of themselves because it's 'drawing attention' to their relationship.

As for whether she is 'genuine' or not, I choose to base my opinions on what I've seen of her on Strictly which is a lovely, sweet and most definitely genuine lady, rather than her past relationships, of which I know virtually nothing about. In fact I recall a certain Jay McGuiness describing her as "one of the most genuine girls ever'.

To be fair to the Fail sidebar of shame, that's probably one of their more highbrow reports amongst such offerings as: woman wears skirt, z list celeb tweets another z list celeb, random celeb walks down the road and a drunken zelebs in the back of a taxi ( with or without crotch shot).

I just had a quick look, there's at least 4 'articles' about Kimberley Walsh's imminent wedding. So, young couple eat bakery products is right up there! Hope none of them spent years studying journalism to reach such dizzy heights.

I feel sad that Georgia hasn't won in Manchester, at least not yet. There was something so vulnerable and naïve, when Craig told her he'd cast her in his West End shows, and now having to go winless on the tour, after coming 2nd or 3rd, while 4th place Anita wins again and again, even in her hometown - well, it's bound to be painful. OTOH, maybe it's a good life lesson.

I really think Anita and Gleb aren't just winning because Gleb's sexy or Anita is well loved - but it's the impact of the melodramatic choreography, designed to have a visceral effect, whether any actual dance steps are even in evidence. This kind of showmanship (or manipulation -- if you're on the jaded side like me) has overtaken DWTS-US completely... well, I guess it's what Cheryl Burke (an 18-series veteran DWTS dancer, now finally gone) said once: DWTS is a show, not a dance competition.

But combine that with Gleb being the new eye candy... well, there you go. I think Gio is just as sexy but he isn't doing the "Gleb special" gimmicks, so it's a combination effect. Gleb learned this from Derek Hough - maybe Gio will come onboard (though I think he's done a pretty good job and will be back in '16 - and the showmance and/or romance certainly won't do him any harm in his ambitions)

It's not that difficult to avoid being papped. Just takes common sense. So many (extremely) famous people are complete enigmas because they're hardly ever photographed outside of work. They all say the same thing ... if you want to keep your private life private .. you can.
I think G&G are enjoying the limelight ... though being papped smoking/eating is not exactly edifying.
I imagine, when the tour finishes, they'll do a feature in OK or something ... you can see it coming. Possibly theyll be 'moving in' or 'getting engaged'. Shades of Kym Marsh et al. Every detail of their lives exploited for the sake of column inches.

I hope she concentrates instead on securing that job in the West End etc. It's all too easy these days to get sucked into the kind of celebrity life where you're just famous for being famous etc. It's tiresome for us and I can't imagine it's that rewarding (other than financially) for them.

I think they're just a normal couple trying to live a normal life. I mean they can't even go to Sainsbury's without getting papped for goodness sake, so I don't buy this whole "you can avoid it" argument.

Oh come off it! You don't think publicity hungry D-listers don't tip the paps off when they're doing something mundane in the hope that their photograph will appear in the Fail? That's more than a little naive.

If it's your opinion that they're "publicity hungry D-listers" then I suppose that's the natural conclusion you would come to.
Not my opinion though.

And yet celebs major and minor manage it every day? At one time, Chantelle Houghton had her every shopping trip recorded in the Side Bar of Shame (the new sofa shopping was particularly thrilling), Denise Van Outen was regularly 'papped' walking down the street (flashing her pins and rocking her tresses), Imogen Thomas had a regular slot detailing her work outs (keeping it simple with minimal make up and a slick of lipstick). There have been times when you could be forgiven for thinking you know more about the offspring of various zelebs than you do members of your own family - but then, whatever it is they are currently promoting ends and they go back to walking down the street, sitting outside a coffee shop, running round a park, frolicking in the surf untroubled by the long lens.

Personally, I think they are in the middle of a promote-and-be-promoted situation for possibly both themselves and the Strictly tour. The test will come after the tour has ended and it's back to real life.

See aggs' post above - puts it perfectly IMO.

Thinking people "just happen" to be papped whilst shopping in Sainsburys is a bit ridiculous!

My son has seen Eddie Redmayne in his local Sainsbury a number of times recently, and nary a pap in sight. If the best actor Oscar holder and current nominee can shop without press interest, I'm sure such relative nonentities as G&G could manage it.
