One of Hubs commanding officers tried to send us to Warsaw rather than Walsall. We had no phone at the time so was a very odd message. Made it there in time to say goodbye to Big Nan at the Manor.

Also Daughter had to translate for her classmates when they visited the Black Country Museum.

What has her accent got to do with it? Hardly a personality trait.

Even though the 'Curse' is a complete fiction. The number of marriages splitting is just about average for people in show business.

“And does the "Curse of Strictly Come Dancing" really exist? The tabloids think so, as they breathlessly report on the relationship break-ups of contestants and their dancing tutors on the BBC One show. But Tim Harford isn't so sure. He crunches the numbers with the help of John Moriarty, a maths lecturer at Manchester University.”

I never saw this coming I could see that Georgia & Giovanni getting on really well in their vt's but just as good mates. Georgia & her bf seemed so loved up on Twitter she was always referring to him as "my man" & "my fella" & Sean was saying how he was the luckiest guy to have her as a gf. Whenever Sean was supporting her in the audience he looked so proud of her, I guess you never know what happens behind closed doors. Think Georgia & Giovanni make a lovely couple feel sorry for Sean but if she felt something for Giovanni it would have been wrong of her to stay with Sean.

Got to feel for him but it happens, all the time, so really not shocking at all. The feelings were probably there hence her ending her relationship with Sean

That said what a pair of little fibbers. And really not being horrible here but I doubt we will hear a deal about her in say five years time.

That's what I can't stand when they lie about their relationship or saying were like brother & sister. They are in the public eye so surely they know they can't hide it forever & it will look bad that they were lying. Georgia obviously knew she had something there with Giovanni but waited until the show ended to split up with her bf her bf was at the final so he was obviously none the wiser still at that stage

I'm perfectly happy to believe this - but I know that sometimes people who are coupled on these shows decide to do a "fauxmance" in order to create publicity to advance their careers. And I know that sometimes people really do hook up. Just sayin'...

Oh, come on. You can bet that there would still be people raging about the situation had they been upfront about their relationship during the show. People are just using this "deception" (not that it's anyone's business) as ammunition to justify their unsolicited and pious opinions.

We don't know the ins and outs of what happened, but from what little info we have...Georgia split up with her boyfriend and then was seen linked to Giovanni. That's all there is to it really...not some enormous cover-up...just young people living their lives (which is made significantly more difficult with trash 'newspapers' clutching at straws to ruin your reputation).

There's no evidence that they were lying or that Geoergia was cheating. Nobody but them knows the real story. Yes Sean was at the final but its entirely possible he wasn't her bf by then and that a split took place much earlier. Also re the VTs and storylines - most likely these are in the control of the production team. GG conducted themselves professionally on the show, worked incredibly hard and delivered outstanding performances every single week. If they developed feelings for each other - now that the show is over and they are both seemingly single then good for them if they find happiness together.

Now this just might put a different perspective on things:

Quote:
““It was Sean who pushed Georgia away, he didn’t feel secure in their relationship and it led to huge rows" according to show source

Strictly’s Georgia May Foote waltzed into the arms of dance partner Giovanni Pernice after her ex-lover “pushed her away”.

We can reveal Georgia , 24, regularly broke down in tears during rehearsals for the BBC1 show following heated arguments with Sean Ward, 27.

And it is claimed former Coronation Street actor Sean’s “insecurity” about the dancing duo led to the breakdown of their seven-month relationship.

Georgia, who also starred in Corrie , was seen kissing Italian Giovanni , 25, during a New Year trip to Disneyland Paris at the weekend.

A show source said: “Georgia was very fond of Sean and she cared for him deeply, but he found it difficult to get over the close friendship she had with Giovanni.

“It was Sean who pushed Georgia away, he didn’t feel secure in their relationship and it led to huge rows.

“Georgia would regularly be in floods of tears backstage. Giovanni was trying to be a good friend.”

What a trashy article! The last thing Sean needs after his ex gets a new boyfriend within days of their split - never pleasant for anyone.

Lol also @ those claiming GG's feelings might have developed after the breakup (in a few days?!) or that he was cheering her on at the final but had already broken up with her.

It looks like he had good reason to feel insecure. I doubt the attraction between G & G just suddenly appeared the day after she split up with her boyfriend.

This is why I don't have a lot of sympathy with the 'it's nobody else's business' argument - if they plaster their relationship all over social media they can't really complain if people take an interest when they break up. Perhaps Georgia will learn a lesson and keep her relationship with Giovanni more private (if they even are a couple).

I don't think anyone is saying their feelings developed after her breakup that's just ridiculous! It's more likely that during an intense experience they began to feel something more than they ever imagined so it made her re-evaluate her feelings for sean and their relationship! It's happens, it's not like they were married or anything, they were together for 7 months!

At the end of the day it is no ones business but theirs, and we are never going to know the full story! I feel for sean but I also feel for Georgia and her family as her sister has had to defend them against horrible comments on Twitter! I don't believe for a second that they acted on any feelings while Georgia was still with sean!

Not really . It's just PR spin the other way

Same as all these things, there's personal truth which differs depending on which party is telling it and the actual truth - which more often than not lies somewhere between the 2,

Worst thing to do in these circumstances is to take the dirty laundry out for a public washing and get into a tit-for-tat 'not my fault, it's theirs' serialisation in the red tops. No one comes out of that unscathed.

If nothing else, this article should be a healthy reminder (not that it should be needed) never to read or give website hits to despicable, hugely superficial outlets let like the Daily Mail or the Sun. Seriously, if you read these publications or other similar ones, look inward and re-evaluate your life choices. New Year's a good time for stuff like that.

Do you really believe that?

I take anything printed in any paper with a pinch of salt, I like the Mail for the sport coverage and the quick crossword. Nothing published in any paper should be taken entirely at face value.

Mind you, if you quote something from the Mail on DS, it does tend to get a few people going.

'Giovanni was trying to be a good friend'

The situation puts a new perspective on Sean's solo standing ovation after GG's VW .. I think Claudia flagged it up ... Georgia hadn't noticed it or perhaps did but didn't want it acknowledged.

Break ups happen ... but it wasn't long ago that she was posting pics of them in bed and calling him the love of her life! She also said it was offensive to insinuate her and Gio were a couple and they were as sister and brother to each other so maybe this is all nonsense.

I do. It's the absolute gutter press. I wouldn't give a penny or in any way promote such a detestable, racist, homophobic, misogynist outlet for drivel.

Like you, I'd take anything written in any paper with a big pinch of salt generally, but when papers like the Mail and/or the Sun are involved, you can multiply that exponentially.

You just have to be wary, the Mirror is even worse, Telegraph can drift that way, there is the Independent owned by an ex-KGB billionaire, tax avoiding Grauniad and Murdoch's Times behind a paywall.

Or maybe the truth lies somewhere between the two extremes. But as others have said, it's their business what they do and what they then choose to post on social media (although the "curtain twitchers" will always have a field day either way).
