One way of handing in her resignation to the BBC

I would say 99% certain she won't be offered a new contact this year

Never watched the tripe, and even less likely to now.

This is going to be awful for her already fragile reputation, IMO.

Why is that a resignation?

I won't be surprised if Kristina isn't back next year, but not necessarily because of CBB, more because Kristina and/or the producers feel it's time for her to move on.

As it is, the BBC has no control over what the pros do in between Strictly contracts. If Strictly can have reality stars as celebs, then it would be somewhat hypocritical to object to pros doing reality tv. Heck, they gave Ola another contract this year even after she broke her leg training for an ITV reality programme while still under contract to Strictly. Yes, the BBC probably won't like it but as Kristina is a free agent right now, there's no reason why Kristina shouldn't do CBB - other than it being really tacky, that is.

I think so too, but I also thought she looked a bit " down" and unhappy in the Clauditorium this year, so maybe she was getting the sense that things were coming to an end for her with regards to Strictly. She then needs to earn a living like anyone else, so took CBB when it was offered to her.

I've never watched it and was tempted when I read this (I really like Kristina and suspect she'll be marmite in the house like she was on SCD).
But seeing Daniella Westbrooks going in too puts me off.
Each to their own.

I would have gone so far as to say 100% actually - and probably she wouldn't come back anyway

It will certainly make or break her reputation once and for all. Kristina is going to have to be very careful how she presents herself as BB likes to push all the contestants buttons to bring out the worst in them and play up to their public perception (real or imagined).

Good luck Kristina. Hope it works out well for you (genuinely- I do)

She's better than this so that's disappointing. I hope she comes across well and isn't edited badly.

Sadly, I think that even if she came across brilliantly in the house, people will have already made their minds up about her. Any goodness she shows will probably be labelled as fake.

It's a real pity she's going in this. Don't think it will raise her profile any. I think it may harm her and feel her publicist should have warned her about this. She will make some money in the short term. A pity as she's a great dancer.

Kristina should do alright. She has her makeup tattooed on. She probably wakes up perfect and will make has-been Daniella jelas

What is it about Kristina that exudes class exactly? Is it the way she pushes ner crotch like a tigress on heat when she dances, the way she steals men she dances with, or the facial fillers maybe?

Kristina looks great without make up, or at least she did 2 years ago. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/fashion-b...HT-BULB-facial

I don't watch CBB usually. Did watch some excerpts when James was there and it was all a bit depressing.

Brendan did Celebrity love Island on ITV and did that celebrity dog trials show on ITV last summer. They can do what they want. They're all freelancers.

Looking at the "market value" situation.

"Kristina, dancer on SCD goes into CBB!"

Has more value, than possibly next year..

Kristina, former dancer on SCD goes into CBB!"

She's no idea if she'll be invited back onto SCD next year.
So I guess she's taking the opportunity whilst it's offered.

You can't blame her. The BBC shows no loyalty to those on the show, they don't have to, it's a "buyer's market."

I would be surprised if Kristina is back on strictly. For some reason, Brendan can get away with a lot!

Hard to say how this will go . Some people seem entrenched in the 'homewrecker' view of her and no matter if she saves a life in there won't change their opinion anyway , so I'm not sure she'll prove anything , unless she snatches a hunky bloke in there from the arms of his fiance and therefore backs up the 'homewrecker' view of her . The thing is , BB is notorious for deciding on a storyline and editing to suit . If they want to make her a biatch then we'll only see her bad side . As regards spilling any beans on her past romances ? Even if that happens it might be withheld , or edited to make her look even more strumpety . The jury is out on which way it will go for her .

I know pro dancers can do what they like between contracts but I do wish she wouldn't do this. IMO it's such a bad move, she's a lot more talented than this show and it's not a stepping stone to anything...

I am no fan of Kristina (don't hate her either) but I agree. I understand going in to " I am celebrity" but CBB is like the worst of all the main realities.

I agree with this. I think BB is utter garbage and just about as much scraping the barrel as you can get, and it's a terrible decision for her to take part. No good can come of it - it's pure tabloid fodder and I don't think anyone's ever come out with what little reputation they had going into it intact.

Presumably she's been offered decent money, but it's sad that she's resorted to this - she seems a genuinely lovely person (I've met her a couple of times) but I don't see how this can possibly benefit her in the long term.

I agree. She's an unbelievably talented woman, and CBB is the antithesis of success in life.

She's physically fit, so would probably be brilliant on I'm a celeb - perhaps even salvaging her reputation.
