Kristina is lovely, I think she'll surprise people if she does go in. I hope she doesn't just because it's so tacky, but if she does, I think it'll actually help her rather than do more damage.

The problem is, it don't matter if she's nice, she'll just get called boring by the bb fans that want characters predominantly to loathe. And even nice hms can still get booed on their exit from the house, even if they've done nothing wrong in the house.

The BB crowd are seen as mindless thugs that just enjoy jeering at anyone, and especially when evicted hms are trying to have the leaving interview with Emma.

The BB editing machine does it magic of creating their own storylines, I see it every year when you see the difference between live feed and the fuller argument and how the edited version changes things because it leaves out dialogue of actions that can change the way the whole thing looked.

And of course, the producers are looking for tabloid headlines in the form of juicy gossip (about Strictly etc), nudity and tacky sex & sex stories (and seem to go all out to encourage this).

I don't think Kristina will disappoint them....

She is better than this, and I think she's far too nice for it. CBB on Chanel 5 is tacky low rent version of what it used to be, they want conflicts and sleaze. Nice people need not apply.

Best case scenario for her is that she lets the 'big' (in Big Brother shorthand for plain annoying) personalities do their thing, be ignored on the highlights programme and labelled 'boring'.

I think she’s going to surprise people. The press have literally tried to run her into the ground and it’s obvious from things she’s said when trying to defend herself that she’s had enough of it. Ben Cohen’s ex-wife is constantly in the press slagging her off…I understand it must be hard for her seeing him with someone else, however there is no proof whatsoever that him and Kristina were together while he was still in with her. It seems like he ended things with his wife because he wanted to be with Kristina…horrible for his wife, but unfortunately these things happen. What was he supposed to do? Stay with his wife just for the sake of it when he’s fallen for someone else? I think Kristina has probably signed up to CBB to show people that she is actually a nice person, and from what I’ve heard, she apparently is a nice person. I think people will be surprised.

Didn't see any nudity on Strictly. The women all wore reinforced full-cup bras and "big girls pants."

But as for CBB, well that's a different story.

For part of my working life I was the general manager of a large departmental store, with all the usual departments.
The department managers for fashions, women's lingerie, bras and corsetry and childrenswear, were all women.
Curiously, the reps who called for the major houses of bras and corsetry, Playtex, Berlei, etc., were all young men. That wasn't considered odd.

"Marriage vows"?!! People do fall out of love you know. People do fall in love with other people. That's life, it happens. Why should someone stay with a person and live the rest of their life unhappy when they have fallen for someone else?

Also, what exactly did Kristina do to "break up a marriage and family"? There's no proof whatsoever to suggest that Ben and Kristina were having an affair or that they were a couple whilst Ben was still in a relationship with his wife. It seems to me (and I could be wrong obviously) that Ben and Kristina developed feelings for each other whilst on the show, fell for each other and so Ben ended things with his wife. Which would be the right thing do. It's sad for his wife of course and it wouldn't be normal if she wasn't upset, but like I said, you can't help who you fall for. These things happen in life. There's no proof that there was an affair or any cheating. Ben has at least had the decency to remain quiet on the most part, whereas his ex wife is all over the papers every couple of weeks talking about it all...I mean she's understandably upset, but what on earth are her children going to think in a few years when they see all these media articles and tweets from their mother slagging of their father?!!

Yes, I just have an old fashioned notion I suppose of what taking a marriage vow means. Silly me, I should just accept that if someone else comes along and I fancy them that I just dump my wife and children.

I'd rather Kristina wasn't doing this, but I hope it may help her reputation... she seems like a very sweet person and if she gets the chance to show this on TV it may do her some good.

Overall, I can't say I blame her for doing this - the money is good, she's essentially out of work at present (not needed for SCD live tour) and no guarantee of returning to Strictly. By contrast, I'm A Celebrity... runs in the latter part of the year so taking that would rule out a return to Strictly 100%. I don't see why being on Big Brother has anything to do with whether she will or won't be back next series - I did think she would leave, but after losing both Ola and Aliona will the powers that be want to let go of another long-serving pro dancer? They seem to like keeping an air of familarity and if Kristina goes as well it will really only be Anton and Brendan left from the old school, and that's assuming they stick with it!

Losing three dancers out of 15 is hardly ruining any "air of familiarity"! And they'd still have Natalie, who started only a year after Kristina.

They've had years where there have been 4 or 5 new dancers (the year Aljaz, Janette, Kevin etc. joined), so I think having to replace three wouldn't faze the producers at all.

Doing Celeb BB is basically Kristina inadvertently saying she wants to move on, as she must know there's only a tiny chance she'll get a contract after a stint in there!
