Replace SIM in Nokia C1-01 RM-607
I've looked up the manual online, which confusingly says that the SIM card is inserted through the side. However, mine is definitely that model and type, yet the SIM sits under the battery and I can't work out how it's being held in. There is a thin metal strip over it, but it doesn't seem to be attached to anything. I don't want to risk breaking anything. Does anybody still have one of these?

I've found instructions which just say remove battery and insert SIM, but nothing to say how to remove it. If I get a fingernail under it and lift, something seems to be holding it but I can't see what. The metal strip on top looks as if it might actually be part of the card and certainly looks as if it will break easily. There must be millions of these still in use, but I can't find instructions anywhere.

I finally found the instruction to slide it out from the top end. Then I put my TalkTalk SIM card in and found that it worked straight away. This after paying (and still waiting) for Orange to unlock the phone.
