Hi ive had an ipad 2 for years but to cut a long story short i broke it while putting a new screen on so splashed out on a newer one,ipad air.
He problem is my hotmail account that ive used for about 10 years needs a password that ive forgotten and the password reset goes to a long gone mobile number.
Ive tried loads of times the reset using memorable question answers and recent emails but have heard nothing back.
I still have access to the account with my iphone but would be nice to get emails to the ipad again.....any suggestions?

Surely there is an option to reset the password, sending it to the Hotmail address itself?

As you can access the account via your phone use this to change your password and you will then have the details for your pad.
BTW when installing the hotmail account on the iPad use "other" instead of outlook.

I see what you mean but the password is just dots on my phone and i need the password to change the password on the hotmail reset page.

You should be able to get a new password sent to the email address

Yeah i can but only to the old mobile number i had when i set up the account 10 years ago.
Ive given them as much info as i can remember including recent emails sent and recieved and ive noticed it could take 30 days to work so will wait and see.
