With the Sky box if I press the Yellow button it will advance 24 hour
With my Sony HDR I can use a jump option to jump to a time and day I chose.
Can I do any of the above with my Humax HDR 2000T?

Use the jump forward button. It's just above the GUIDE button and below the fast forward button.

The replay button, on the other side of the stop button will skip back 24 hours.

Also the fast forward and rewind buttons will skip 3 hours at at time when in the guide.
