I thought my point was pretty obvious, he's well read (unless the books are for show which I doubt).

Yes, I agree. The magician chap didn't seem to have any learning difficulties problems, but he was certainly a bit odd, to say the least!

It was more the "7 year old's" comment that threw me.

I fully expected him to be aspie. So many traits!

Yeah i got that impression too. You could tell he was intelligent.

Half the people on these undateables shouldnt be on the show. Some are right stunners who probably signed up just to be on TV.

'Learning disabilities, or learning disorders, are an umbrella term for a wide variety of learning problems. A learning disability is not a problem with intelligence or motivation. Kids with learning disabilities aren’t lazy or dumb. In fact, most are just as smart as everyone else. Their brains are simply wired differently. This difference affects how they receive and process information.

Simply put, children and adults with learning disabilities see, hear, and understand things differently. This can lead to trouble with learning new information and skills, and putting them to use. The most common types of learning disabilities involve problems with reading, writing, math, reasoning, listening, and speaking.'

I don't think because someone has learning difficulties doesn't mean they can't pick up some skills, they just suffer from others.

I think that chaps learning difficulties were more about social learning than book learning.he quite obviously didn't have the knowledge to know how to behave within social norms hence the full blooded vocals.he reminded me a bit of A less exuberant Charles Hanson the auctioneer off bargain hunt

As a previous poster has already stated, I'm a little suspicious that some of these female dates might be models, or professionals simply hired for the occasion; it seems a little strange that the dates all follow the same pattern (i.e. they promptly leave for a 'toilet break'), although I guess the production staff could just as easily request this from 'legitimate' dates too, given that it happens on First Dates (speaking of which - I hope they don't mind being filmed in the toilet! Unless it's just the sanitation area)

Also, I think the chaperones are still there, but not explicitly mentioned any more - at the end of the bowling date, we briefly caught a glimpse of the girl walking towards somebody, who I assume was the chaperone

(If people want to read the email I'm sure I can find it, copy and paste it....blanking out anything personal though).”

I don't doubt what you say. Others on DS have also commented they know people who've been approached to go on a date with an Undateables client.

I wonder why Eloise is so nervous when she's around people she must know really well. Must be being in a strange environment I guess.

Yes it is good to see them all again, although sad some of the couples didn't last too long.

Is a bit isn't it.

They've obviously both got a bit of a penchant for jaunty headwear.

First one I've seen of this series, I haven't been in the right mood for it.
Only here to say I saw Thundercats (can't remember her real name) looking all Loved up with a chap in Asda, Greenwich the other night.
They were both grinning at each other like they'd lost their minds.

Anyway it, was nice to see Alex and Chalise (sp).
Maybe they should have done something about the camera on Eloise's segway on the cobbles

I don't care where they get the dates from, as long as they're 'straight' actually there to meet someone, it seems from the other FM's post they're informed what sort of affliction their date will have.

It's probably the cameras making her nervous, but they can't say that! I'd be see nervous going on a date with a camera crew filming it all, it must be doubly hard for the people on this show.
