Hauwei DN370T volume settings
Is there any way to adjust the internal volume settings on the Hauwei DN370T? I seem to remember seeing something about it in the handbook, but I seem to have lost it(and I can't seem to find the downloadable version that used to be available on TalkTalk's website). The reason I ask, is because I am now using a BT/Humax YV recorder in addition to my original Hauwei, both connected to the same input on my TV via a SCART switching unit(due to lack of other sockets) and I find that when I switch over to the Hauwei, the sound level is deafening. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Interesting question. I have the opposite situation, just changed from BT to TT and find that the sound output on the TT Hauwei is quieter than it was on the BT Humax. It's not a huge difference but the TV sound has to be a couple of points higher than it was.

Is that not what the vol+ and vol- buttons on the remote are for?

1 Press and hold the OK and Vol- buttons until the TalkTalk button flashes. 2 Use the volume control to increase or decrease the output volume 3 To save and exit, press and hold the OK and Vol+ buttons until the TalkTalk button flashes |

Can't get this to work. What do you mean by the Talktalk button flashing? The Talktalk button on the remote is a solid button - no light in it.

The remote supplied with the Hauwei DN370T (which the OP is asking about) has a TalkTalk button which lights up.

A new remote is being supplied with the DN370T which doesn't have a light around the TalkTalk button & which doesn't allow you to control the box volume like the old remote does. (well the old method doesn't work anyway).

I have the old remote with the light up Talk Talk button. I seem to remember the volume buttons set the volume of the Huawei box by default, but I did the above trick so I could adjust the TV volume.
As I don't have the new remote without the light up Talk Talk button, I'm sorry I can't be much help. |
