To have Sherlock Holmes travelling in the Tardis to solve crimes in the past and future ? Coz if they has more budget cuts at the BBC, instead of having to choose one show to survive, they could combine them as one

Yes. This is the best idea I have ever heard. You should work in television commissioning if you dont already.

Yes. Yes, the BBC should definitely do that. Yes.

(How about a Poll? My reply would be in the affirmative, btw. Yes.)

I agree I was excited for weeks and it ended up a huge disappointment.

Why not be done with it and just watch The Talons of Weng-Chiang instead?

Not interested in Sherlock I tried watching it about 2 years ago and coudnt get on with it. I profoundly disagree you cannot suggest such an abomination!
Just because Moffat is the showrunner of both doesnt mean shuch a thing makes sense.

When you think about it, BBC could save a load of money by building 1 city-sized set and putting all their TV shows there. Peter Kay and the other one from that show could be giving a lift to Dr Watson on his way to see Dr Who perform in the QI house, with Chris Evans sitting alongside them and reviewing the car. Matt Baker could appear every now and then and do short pieces to camera, while everyone is doing ballroom dancing.

Sorted.

I think I'd turn off if that happened they should just remain the same different shows they are although I wouldn't mind if it was a non canon, Children in Need thing.
