panasonic soundbase problem
hi i have a sc-hte80 soundbase connected to a panasonic tx-40c300b tv with hdmi lead through the arc terminals. when i switch them on i sometimes get sound for a couple of seconds then silence so i have to do the volume on the soundbase which will sometimes have gone back to zero or will jump back to zero as i am turning it up! i have to turn the soundbase on and off and keep doing this till it starts working then it;s all fine till i turn them off when i will have to go through it all again.i have tried other leads and this is the second soundbase as i returned the first one thinking it faulty as it done the same thing. could it be a tv fault! it's driving me mad. i tried panasonic support but advise was pretty basic and didn't address the problem at all.

Also you need to 'pair' the devices. I've got a Panasonic cs620 attached to a Panasonic soundbase - whilst the initial set up was fiddly, it's been as good as gold since and never needed re-setting. |
