Totally agree

Have tried to watch but end up back at the cricket these last 2 days

Thinking about it, everytime an advert comes on , I switch channels. Maybe that's the difference
the last hour they only showed about 10 minutes of actual golf, which is a problem for me, it's like they have decided no one cares about anything but Rory and the top 2 so they will fill the coming hours with chatter.

Yesterday he played in those high-tops that Rickie Fowler plays in.

You gotta say that Phil is getting some major breaks this championship - should have been in the gorse 3 or 4 times over the weekend but has managed to avoid them every time ...

What was Nick Dougherty going on about today

He said

We are seeing glimpses of what a great player Rory Mcilroy is

Where has he been for the last five years when Rory was winning majors and being World number one

He has not become bad overnight, he is just not playing well at the moment

Sky won't ever deviate from the Rory script though they are loathe to criticise him in any shape or form.

They might push this big four nonsense but Stenson will go ahead of Mcilroy in rankings after today

Dont write off Mickelson as he can produce something magical out of nothing

Also Stenson has choked before in this position like at the USPGA at Valhalla when he lost to Rory in the end

Masterclass by Stenson and Mickelson, Phil must be gutted shot a 65 in the final pairing of a last round of an open and lost!

Brilliant duel throughout the full weekend - topped off by two of the greatest rounds in open history.

63 with 2 bogeys
65 without a bogey

Stenson was a machine all tournament and Phil at 46 has rolled back the years.

No golf tournament is complete without some stuffed shirt giving out a speech!

Least it's not in Val Doonicans front room like at Augusta!

Stuffy lot cannot even make an off the cuff speech without adhering to their notes.

Surely they can deliver a resume of the week, including the weather, without having to read it all verbatim.

Well at least rage golfers can!

We've welcomed the 'champion golfer' once ....... why say it again?

The presentation gets more tedious as the years go on.

Think they said the other day no silver medal this year as neither of the amateurs made the cut.

Well spotted.

No amateurs survived the cut after day 2 then. Shame.
