They seem to have a house in the suburbs, not in city center.

Yes, it's called Dancing and the stars, the premiere was on February 6-7th. Girls are the ex-contestants of previous series of DWTS (but none from last year), plus the pro dancers. Elena is the main choreographer and participates in one of the routine.

Ah, so she was a choreographer at a different a event.

I don't know, maybe he has other plans. The final list of the pro dancers has not been announced yet .

I've finally got round to posting up the full video on Youtube, so would like to share with you all - it will make more sense now!
I started filming the now infamous 'crabbing' (very nice rear view version!) and kept on filming because Gleb grabbed the mic and kept on talking! Here it is in full .....

I agree with your observations - Gleb was great during this, but his wife was in the audience that evening and I remember he kept glancing over in her direction in a 'Is this OK?' kind of way.
I have another clip to share ..... I was very lucky to have great seats for the show, 3 rows from the front in the block right by the Judges, so I clocked a lot! Just as the show was beginning, a dancer came out in front of us and I saw Gleb appear from behind the curtain. Realising he was about to dance right in front of us, I managed to catch him cartwheeling in!

Hope you enjoy the videos - I was pretty chuffed when Gleb liked and re-tweeted it, so I ended up on his wall! ”

Yes, they are different. DWTS-Russia is a TV show and Dances and the stars is just a show.

Hi Tinkerbella!

Thanks for those and welcome! Love the second clip- I was in pretty much the same area but at the back of the tier when I went- you were so lucky to get such great seats! I remember looking down & seeing Gleb dancing right in front there (first time I spotted him!) so it's great to have all these little video clips to remember it by!

Gleb retweeted one of my pictures from the tour too- it's slightly exciting when that notification comes through isn't it? I do love that he acknowledges fans on social media in that way & how he interacts with them keeping us all updated on what he's up to and stuff. Great way to get our Gleb fix in Strictly's absence!

Thanks for the Welcome and glad you liked the video clips - happy to share with fellow Gleb appreciaters! I was lucky to get those seats - I only got them a couple of weeks before the date, but really wanted to see Gleb on the tour (in case he didn't return!!) so treated myself.

Oh yes! Was definitely excited when his name popped up on my phone! My phone then went crazy for a bit with other Likes and Re-tweets - cheers Gleb! He's really good on Twitter, just waiting for his first Snapchat now!

Hello Tinkerbella, you join the Glebster, or Glebbington as Mel calls him, party with some very nice gifts, thank you. I know that everyone on this thread would like him to return and that many, myself included, know his future partnerships have a lot to live up to following the one with Anita.

I've not had the pleasure yet ... but yes it's great that he and his PR team are savvy with social media.

Just wanted to say that it was interesting to read that (the part in bold) .... I recall Gleb non-appreciators using the fact that he re-tweets flattering tweets as a criticism ("he's so vain") and I hadn't thought about how nice it must be for the fans to have him re-tweet them.

Just to add - I'm a massive Strictly fan since Series One, but this was the first live show I went to. Thoroughly enjoyed it and felt so lucky being that close to the action and seeing everyone close up. Absolutely loved Mel, but then I always have. She made me smile sitting on the little chair (that Gleb got the rose from) during each dance, bopping along to the music I'd love her to take over from Tess!! Sorry - I'm not a Tess fan .....

Also really enjoyed Helen and Alijaz dances. Helen and Anita were my favourites this past series, was gutted neither made the final. I really hope Gleb comes back to Strictly this year, looking at his tweets - get the feeling he would like to, it does sound hopeful. But I really loved Anita, their partnership worked so well on all levels - I do hope he gets an equally likeable partner next time.

Pretty gutted that Gleb is coming back to perform about 30 minutes away from me in a couple of weeks!! Those tickets sold out, but hopefully he will feel the UK love again and be back on Strictly or a UK tour of his own.

Hope you enjoy the videos - I was pretty chuffed when Gleb liked and re-tweeted it, so I ended up on his wall! ”

Welcome, and thanks so much for the great videos! I remember thinking when I first saw the twitter videos "lucky girl, she had a great view." I really appreciate that so many people did video and upload so much of the tour.

Funny about him looking over to his wife ... I remember reading a quote from him about his wife casting a critical eye on his performances and later giving him notes. I guess she's done well in that capacity so far, though I hope he'll also get some input from Strictly insiders (if he returns). I think he and Anita might've squeaked into the final if he'd played his cards a little differently in the semi-final.

A shame you couldn't get tickets to the upcoming show, but it's good that it's sold out, I guess. Hopefully he'll be getting more offers like that. It seems to be how the other Strictly pros spend their time in the off season if they're not doing their own tours.

Poor Tess, it's also a yes from me on Mel replacing her.

Wow very lucky! I got mine in early Jan I think- I had to go through a resale site as I stupidly waited till Gleb was confirmed for the tour to book by which point all the decent seats had sold out and we needed three together in the lower tier which was nigh on a mission impossible- still got there in the end! I'm just going to book when they go on sale this year and risk it!

Yes I know what you mean- I ended up with about 60 likes- my phone was going absolutely nuts for about 24 hours afterwards! Cheers Gleb indeed

I think so myself. I'm a big musicals fan and in those kind of circles if you tweet a west end performer saying you enjoyed their performance and they like or retweet it it's seen as an acknowledgment to you in a "Thank you very much" kind of way rather than them being vain and boosting their egos so that's the way I see it with Gleb.

I see his retweets also as more him wanting to share pictures fans have sent him with other fans if you know what I mean- at least retweets regarding the tour. The calendar retweets are clearly to promote the calendar & to show his amusement at how excited people are over it but you can't blame him for doing that- there are many who are far worse in terms of that kind of promotion & it's clearly keeping the calendar profile out there even in nearly March when the traditional calendar season has died down.

There's a photo on Andy Grammer's twitter showing the DWTS pros, and the man standing on the far right looks an awful lot like Gleb, even the posture is familiar. Please check it out and tell me what you think. Sorry but I don't know how to bring it over to here.

I mean the guy standing behind Peta..

Thanks for bringing the photo over Maggie.

I just enlarged the photo and I don't think it's him either now.

Thanks.

There's no Gleb, but I do see Artem in that picture for sure. I wonder if he thinks he made a mistake chosing DWTS over Strictly?

The one in the grey sweatshirt? Nah, he's not as good looking as the Glebster

You have to wonder about Artem's choice, especially if he remains on the dance troupe. I think that his separation from Kara might have been a major factor in his decision to leave SCD and join DWTS. Although he was not a pro that I liked he did some interesting choreography so it's a pity he left.

I do see what you mean, I also appreciate the retweets (especially when so many people were filming during the tour). I don't mind his calendar flogging (after seeing your whole video on youtube I see he really was selling it hard). It's tough to make a living as a professional dancer and if he can make some money that way, more power to him.

One of his latest tweets is so funny: https://twitter.com/Gleb_Savchenko/s...59097243672576
I think I've rarely seen so many responses to one of his tweets--he knows how to inspire his audience. (If I were on twitter, I'd have voted thumbs down. I'd love to see how he looks with really short hair.)

Absolutely! He's got a brilliant team behind him who clearly know how to market him in just the right way!

Lol! I did have a chuckle at that! I also laughed at this one he also posted...

I just realized I was mixing you up with another poster when I referred previously to youtube videos. Sorry!

Yeah, I liked the bed head tweet too--he's adorable when he makes faces like that, and the casual, white t-shirt look is very sexy.
