It seems to me that they are doing something but why they won't say what.....I don't know.These cryptic little comments keep appearing on their twitters and I think she is in charge of Glebs for the past week .The English appears slightly off centre and its usually like that on her Twitter/FB....but you can still understand the gist of it although a few people have passed comment.I don't think its a stage show .
He(Elena) has just posted on his twitter and on her own as well within minutes.

PS...I thought that was a rough looking Gleb at first but its some other Russian dancer and that dark haired girl is his partner.Mind you saying "rough looking" guy is so wrong......he is way better than the mingers we are used to seeing round these parts....!!!
Personally,I think they have moved here ?? Pretty certain they are doing SCD and they did make a big thing of the visa coming through . That little girl needs to go to school surely although Elena has put herself down as living in London since Gleb came last year .(FB)

Yes, I wondered if they'd moved here as well. I think I misread the tweet earlier, the show is one that Elena choregraphs and has been doing for a while. Her English isn't as good as Gleb's (although it's still far better than my non existent Russian), and so that's where the confusion comes from. I'm assuming they will put Olivia in a school here if they have moved here, but it's still the school holidays at the moment. She looks so much like her Daddy doesn't she?

She does do well with English all things considered.I think their alphabet is different too.And I agree that the little cherub is very much like Gleb although Elena is a goodlooking lady ....lol....he does have the edge ! Honestly that little girl is so cute.I decided to peek round his instagram and you can see he dotes on her.....its my diamond,my baby,my angel .I like one where he says Olivia has been cooking today and she has a plateful of food balanced really well !

I'm also curious about what they have going on. I was a bit disappointed when I saw his agent tweeting about meeting with Gleb and Elena, but hopefully it will be something good.

I recently (re)watched an old DWTS recap show where Gleb and Elena were guests. I was pleasantly surprised by her. As several have mentioned, her English isn't as good as his, but she made a lot of interesting and intelligent comments and was very charming. I hope she gets a chance on Strictly.

I have not seen her(Jade) tweets but I hope it doesn't involve him undressing as that seems to be what she/BOLD come up with for with their clients . He has the talent and fans who don't require him to do this.Did anybody notice that he tweeted/ FB the ATTITUDE annual cover last Sunday and took it off Wednesday when only 4 or 5 people liked it so it could have been a BOLD stunt again.Usually he has hundreds of LIKES to any pic of his.I don't want to see a load of Y-FRONTS or boxer shorts on dodgy guys or even him He has talent and looks and needs the agent who can help him to maximise these gifts not downgrade him to the level of towie/geordie etc trash. PS-I did check that other woman who used to judge SCD ,Arlene Philips ?? She has been confined to bed with a cold all last week.

Dancing with Anita was sexy and romantic at one and the same time and they were fully clothed.

I think Elena seems to focus more on choreographing now, and seems to always be working on shows and stuff. I believe she has her own dancing show that tours around Russia, that said she seems to 'like' any tweets that ask her if she's doing Strictly. Unless she's playing a game with people of course, but I think it's intersting that they are in the UK now when contracts for the next series come up. There is an interview Anton has given recently where he said they get they find out if they are coming back/get their contracts once Easter is out of the way.

The English issue isn't really a problem, as I think Giovanni struggled a bit with his English last series. It can be worked on.

I'd rather they were not signed with Bold either. I can't think why they'd sign with an agency like that in all honesty?

Elena tweeted 16 hours ago something about good London trip and now heading back to Oz and at T5 Heathrow ????? I am jetlagged just thinking of how many flights they have been on . Just a recap of Gleb from Dec 2015 He went from London to Moscow and all three headed for Miami within days.After 2 weeks they returned to Moscow and couple of days later Gleb came to the UK for the SCD live tour.Feb 15th he and Elena went to Canada,stayed 10 days and returned to Moscow.Then he went to Hong Kong and she went to Oz . After 10 days Gleb and Olivia went to Oz ,stayed 12 days and all three came to England for 9 days .Only thing now is....where is Gleb and Olivia.,.....?? !!
I am worn out just thinking about it xx

Has she deleted that tweet now? I cant see it? I wonder if she's going back to Oz alone? Either way, I also deel exhausted thinking of all the travelling they do. It reminds me of a tweet Neil Jones sent to Gleb recently asking where exactly his home was, Moscow, London, Hong Kong or Sydney and Gleb said he didn't know and he moved about all the time. I think their Visa's probably depend on them being in the UK for so many days/months a year, but moving about like that isn't much of a life is it?

Yes it must be difficult and why I think they both want to on SCD together .They keep smiling and working hard though don't they and fully deserve to be together on Strictly.They deserve every success. Even that little cherub keeps smiling bless her little heart I want them to come back as a family and stay xx

Yes, she's very young to be seperated from her parents isn't she. I wonder who cares for her in Hong Kong when they are away? I did read somewhere that she lives with grandparents, but I may have got that wrong.

Just read on Elena's FB page that she is a choreographer on SYTYCD Australia. I wonder if that's why they spend so much time there?

Peeping around their facebooks and instagrams (as you do lol) majority of the time they are together and Hong Kong seems to be the base although the preference for USA comes over strongly over any other place.The Samodanova granny is a dancer too and seems to be the main babysitter .Is she in Hong Kong ? Where is Mr Samodanova ? No pics of him at all. Glebs parents seem very solid and stable .xx

I think Gleb may have tweeted a photo of Elena's mum over Christmas. I remember thinking she looked like an older version of Elena, she was with them on holiday in Miami on New Years Eve.

I think she had an audition for Strictly, and that's why they were here. I'm not sure whether she will do it because she seems to have so much on with all the shows she puts together. I believe we will find out within the next few weeks, certainly by the end of the month.

They must really rack up the air miles with all the flying they do, and going from their Instagrams pictures they always seem to fly business class as well. Must cost an absolute fortune.

BiB: It made me think of a favourite observation of mine, from Breakfast at Tiffany's (the book)--that when people are in a foreign country they might fall in with people with whom they normally wouldn't associate in their home country; being foreign, they lack the sensitivity to social cues, etc.

Sadly, though, it must be pretty obvious what kind of agent Bold is. Maybe Gleb didn't have any other offers, or she's inexpensive, or (hopefuly not) he doesn't mind being in that sort of company?

I think the grandmother must be the nanny. Seems a good solution to me. The alternative would be that they bring their daughter on their extensive travels, but that seems even worse (to me). At least she has some stability and a family member with her. The alternative would be that they (or one of them) give up their career, or that they hadn't had a child (which seems to be what a lot of pro dancers do--postpone families. I wonder if Janette and Aljaz will start a family immediately after they get married--I think Janette is already 30-something.)


Pre-Strictly he always said that Hong Kong was where they call home. I imagine all the travel stems from all the opportunities they're getting. It seems crazy to us dull, normal people (), but it's normal for entertainers. Some might be constantly on the road in one country or continent on a tour bus, others are constantly flying around.


I think when you're a frequent flyer, business class becomes quite a bit cheaper.

I think you are right but I think its the first option in bold .You know how Anita's mom was under the impression that everybody went ballroom dancing well, one of my Punjabi friends mother came over as a youngster in the 60's and she picked up English within weeks without any extra tutition.She started reading Judy and Bunty and felt she should be ballet dancing and in boarding school and she was pestering the life out of her parents...ballet...boarding schools So I think maybe they do not know of the options and are signed up for a certain time now with BOLD Jade.
They need to change BOLD and get better agents/options and I think Josh was saying the same thing.Gleb is too talented and really seems a great father as well so therefore a man.They look a classy couple and could be bigger than Becks and Victoria,certainly bigger than the Rooneys .Love him to bits and that little angel of his is too cute for words xx

Just to clarify my previous post.....my meaning is that Gleb signed up with BOLD not really knowing their shady reputation and assumes that what they do is what British people do anyway and what is expected of celebs........so lost in cultural and language translation .....???
Only the other day I was watching Billy Connolly in the US.What connection has Connolly with the US.Gleb probably has more. I don't even like Connolly but I love the US and wanted to see more of it but what a zombie Billy is.He is so depressing and ruined the whole programme for me.Point is if Connolly can get something like this series on BBC then he has a dammed good agent and that is what Gleb needs....a good agent and I would love to see Gleb and his world and travels plus SCD.
These are my ideas and I like Josh's ideas too.Good for Gleb and good for us his fans.

I am inclined to believe that coming into the UK, GS's perception of the UK public/moral norms are coloured by BOLD and their client listings and perhaps an outsiders view too.Our perception of Russia /US is shaped by the media .My opinion of Russia is of the USSR from a historical angle so this is the first time I am seeing a small chink of a social perspective .The media has us believe that Americans are loud,uncouth,brash,cowardly,insular and have no morals or manners, that they came in late in both world wars.Nothing could be further from the truth when you meet them and look at the facts.In a nutshell Americans are the most innovative,brave and compassionate people on earth but conservative .

My wife likes Gleb ....she was a dancer (Irish dancing) but she would not buy his calender or Attitude mag.She would buy a DVD of his dancing or pay £100-250 to see him live as we have done at the O2.Problem with BOLD is they only have one idea and that is go topless or worse and its annoying . I am not being PC now but lets face it....its women who are going to pick up the phone on a Saturday night and vote en masse.The Attitude crowd are out on the pull.So BOLD are doing Gleb no favours.

Gleb and his wife seem pretty conservative but they need to get a better agent.One who has more contacts and respect . His profile is on a high so they could maximise their earning potential here.I am pretty sure that they do not want to be flying round the world and at some point they will need to provide a stable home for their daughter and I read somewhere that they want two more children.

Billy Connolly has some health issues but it is spoiling a perfectly good programme.A good agent needs to get this type of programme/series for Gleb that showcases him/dance/locations and appeals to the mainstream public.Even his off dance footage with Anita is good .My wife wanted it downloaded with the dance clips.Add at home with his wife and daughter and you have great viewing and endorse clothing ranges.

Maybe Gleb/Elena don't actually want to pursue a career in the UK (outside of Strictly) ? They've got so many other home bases/jobs. Also, they might have trouble aligning visa/work. It's often tricky--you get a visa only if you have work, but you can only get work if you have a visa. When he does Strictly, the BBC probably handles it for him.

In any case, I'm loving all the cooking photos he posts. I'll admit to enjoying the beach pics and the selfies, but the fact that he cooks is adorable.

I think they do want to be in the UK aside from SCD but only for a set period.Think they see the US as long term. The Mirror did an article in January where Gleb was "worried" about the future of SCD since so many pros had left.He said he would not mind Elena being on the SCD with him and dancing with other men.And all the coming and going they have done just now.And she has posted every media article 3/4 times over where it was speculating she may be on SCD.
These progs or clothing endorsements wouldn't take much longer than the Attitude/Calender but they would be more lucrative for them and respectable or he could do a cookery programme ....!!! xx

Russians have difficulty getting visas to visit the UK, but then that works the other way with Brits (and other Europeans) who want to go to Russia. Our countries don't have the best of relationships these days sadly. Shame really as the history in Russia is fascinating and they could have a thriving tourist industry there.

I'm dying to know what they were doing in the UK, I'm guessing it's probably Strictly related though. The comments Gleb made about people finding out very soon seem to point that.
