Hello, just wanted to stop by and leave some appreciation for Gleb I've enjoyed reading all your posts and especially looking at the photographs. I like what you've done with the place, it looks good in here

My personal favourite of Gleb and Anita's dances is their Cell Block (Argentine) Tango, particularly the intro for unashamedly obvious reasons as well as the chemistry between them on the dancefloor. Also their wonderfully dramatic Paso.

I appreciate Gleb's eyes, they have such a mischievous glint

Really hoping to hear Gleb and possibly Elena confirmed for the next series in the weeks ahead, will keep checking back for news.

Agree with you completely on the Cell Block AT and Gleb's eyes and naughty humour. I hope we see a lot more of that humour with his next partner.

Took me a while to read through the whole thread, I've learnt a lot more about him

I was impressed with how Gleb made such an impression as a pro in his first series. Not easy for a new pro to do nowadays when they have so much outside input with music and choreography and then when it comes to getting to know them personally the intro VTs are so scripted. I loved his ITT interviews with Anita, laid back and cat-like with a mischievous glint in his eye and grin just making little interjections.

I don't know what 'category' of Strictly partner he'd be lined up for next series (if definitely back). A ringer wouldn't be unfair as Anita didn't have any previous dance training (I know, I know). I'd love to see him teamed with a big personality and get to see some really 'out there' entertaining choreography. Not a duffer though, he's got to stay in til at least Blackpool! I wonder if he and Elena would be really competitive if she joins Unless she helps more in the background with choreography if she's too busy to commit to partnering a celeb.

Also the impression I had of him at the beginning of the series changed completely about halfway through. He seemed like a chilly Adonis and gradually we saw that he did not take himself too seriously, was flirty and funny with some interesting choreography, as you say. I think that Anita being his partner helped because they got along well, she worked hard and was willing to take risks. All helped him find his feet as a dancer.

For this reason I'm nervous about his next partner (I can't entertain his not being back anymore!) As I've said before, a nice ringer who is not ultra-competitive or a middling/struggling celeb with personality so they remain for a while and Gleb can enjoy the process and we him.

I've mixed feelings about Elena joining and find I don't take to her yet. That may change as my feelings did with Gleb.

Excuse me Maggie....what is a " ringer ? " Read references to that but only on DS.
Not sure what Gleb and Elena were doing here last week but pretty sure we will know soon enough.I may be biased being a mere man but I think Elena is beautiful and would be nice to see more of her . She seems pleased that he is popular over here and they keep posting welcome updates .Will miss Anita and Gleb as a couple though.Look at this pic and Elena is sat in the background smiling while Gleb takes a selfie with his daughter . Strikes me as a happy woman, determined and passionate about her family.

A ringer is someone who already has extensive dance training prior to Strictly. They are getting more and more common, especially when you take into account that most people in the entertainment industry will have had some form of dance training. You have the likable ringers like Kimberley Walsh, Louisa Lytton and Tom Chambers who can get away with it, and the really up their own behinds ones like Dense Van Outen and Natalie Gumede. There's a fine line, from the most recent series Kellie and Helen fell into the ringer category for sure.

Same here I love how he plays along but at the same time doesn't take himself too seriously. Behind the cheese you can see a sincere man and the pics I love the most are those with his daughter, so cute to see him with her.

I was fond of Daniel on the show especially his dry sense of humour, he wasn't what I expected at all.

I love them too.I wish they would put all of Gleb/Anita clips on one video.It would make very interesting viewing.I know of them but you have to check each video out.He always looks amazing with his different looks and expressions.Look at his expression in that clip.....he looks SO different yet all Gleb.Check them both out from 0.10- 0.14....tiny clip and does he look stunning

And Anita looks so lovely naturally than she ever does with makeup on and hair done Her hair looks better naturally because it has body and shine.Its so silky.

Got to agree with the bib. I was disappointed he went so early. Another gracious celeb.
