I wondered when Celebrity Masterchef would be starting and then it appeared on the "Next Week" page of the coming week's TV magazine (yes, I still use one ) so not long now! Can't wait to see Gleb in his apron

Cutting it a bit fine to get over the jet lag as well .
Hoping that he will have been watching our Masterchef of previous years winners as we certainly want him to win or near enough.Seems he does cook a lot at home but very Russianfied dishes and rather stodgy looking.....nothing wrong with that if you are in Siberia of course ! Just joking...sure he will come up with tasty stuff....going to be in front of the box Wednesday evenings yay Spoilt for choice,.....Gleb,Wimbledon or Euros (Spain) ...and Iceland.Gosh.....love those Vikings....need to book a spa break in Iceland

I suspect Masterchef has filmed already and Gleb won't be due to return until late August when the SCD bandwagon gets rolling.

Oh yes! There are two issues that might influence Gleb leaving: Elena and her plans plus his previous of not remaining long in any dance competition show. BUT, the fact that he has done Masterchef suggests to me he is keen to embrace UK TV for now. So I hedge on the side that it's not him. IF the poster is correct then I would hazard a guess that it will be a big shock and is one of the more established male pros but like Viola on a monument, this is a knot only time can untie.

I'd be gobsmacked if it is him to be honest.

Neither Gleb or Elena seem to be doing very much at the moment. I do think that he does the main bulk of the child care though, just from looking at Twitter/Instagram.

I hope Gleb comes back.Hope they have signed up his wife. It makes sense that as a family they want to be together and she is a pro as well.Its not like she is a librarian and wants to be on SCD.Financially they need to be together as well as a family.
Wonder where Lana Del Rey is and can she throw some light on this considering she knows about his parents and their other activities.

I'm not sure why backstageone's comments are being taken so seriously in all honesty? They've been very hit and miss with their 'insider gossip' up to now. Definitely take it with a pinch of salt. I will say that I do wonder how long Anton can realistically go on for? his Latin has always sucked but now they are supposed to be including contemporary and hip hop routines, it would be an absolutely car crash. Hilarious for all the wrong reasons.

Gleb was in the same Masterchef group as Amy Childs. And she said they had already filmed it. Not sure how you can fit that in over a week really? But there you go.

Re-Backstageone, the bib from Melissa is my belief and yes why share it if you are not revealing all.

Re-Vodka and bib, he kept quiet about it on his social media sites. Normally he'll share when he's in London with a photo or something. He might have been under contract to keep quiet until BBC MC released their promotional articles.

Hi guys. Well, you take a couple of days off the forum and come back to news that Gleb might have left I can't see it myself. I might be straw-clutching here but would they really sign him up to Master Chef if he was no longer on Strictly? All these shows kind of tie in in terms of the Beeb advertising some of their stars and it would seem a little odd to sign Gleb up after only one series

All things considered.....I don't think Gleb is in London .Doesn't he usually post airport pics beforehand.This could be from when he was in London a couple of months ago....supposedly when MC came about....could be wrong.If it was all filmed before and it airs tonight....maybe required to play along......we shall see.

He does a lot with Arlene Philips, and from reading her tweets she fancies him quite badly I think. Not that I blame her or anything, she never could contain herself around handsome men

BiB 1: Good to know, I was wondering about that poster's track record. Though to be fair, I imagine he/she might be privy to some but not all information, and as he/she mentioned on the main thread, things often change.
