Yes, Ola's didn't leave much to the imagination at all. We know the Beeb were unhappy about it, and Craig openly said he thought it was tacky.

I wonder if maybe it was lost in translation and he didn't literally mean we'll see 'eveything'....

I don't think Gleb will reveal everything, I hope. Mind you some of the tiny pants in which he's been photographed leave little to the imagination! I think he's being a tease. Gleb's English is too good to make such an error.

Hmmmm very interesting photo of Elena has been tweeted of her wearing a very baggy cardigan. I'm not saying anything...,

Just checked the photo and ... they are in Sydney in winter time, as Gleb reminds us with a short video he has shared on social media, but ... it would be nice for Olivia to have a sibling. Two children are a lot harder to manage than one so more than ever this family need a base. Such a pity that base could not be the UK.

I know Hong Kong is supposed to be their base, but they seem to spend more time in Australia than anywhere. I suppose it's closer in flying time to HK than London is though if they need to go back (isn't this where Olivia attends school?).

I've been told by people that have been to Australia that Syndey is overrated, most Brits seem to prefer Melbourne.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if they didn't move back to the US .
Said it before but Russians like America and it was clear that he did.

Still think there is much more to this than just him wanting to spend time with his family. But I'm not sure we will ever really get to the bottom of it.

Hi Josh and Vodka, plus others reading. What I don't understand about their US ambitions is that Gleb had a foot in the door then Elena and he quit the USA when she suspected an affair. OK she was far from home at a difficult - perhaps terrible - time in her life, but they both abandoned USA dreams there and then. I agree that for many the USA might be the better option but Gleb and Elena don't make sense to me in this respect. What am I missing?

I agree that a couple as ambitious as Gleb and Elena are not going to make a decision for him to quit SCD after one year only because he wants to spend time with the family. I know there is speculation about the producers not wanting him back and it might have been worsened by not choosing Elena to join him and/or any struggle to get visas for Elena and Olivia to live with him whilst he is working on the show. I've watched the video of his This Morning interview and Elena is quite buttoned up (in terms of her clothes) so perhaps she is pregnant.

I will miss him very much this autumn as watching him and Elena on This Morning made me realise how fond I've grown of him and she came across really well in the interview.

backstageone was adamant he was let go and I'm inclined to believe it to be honest. He/she has been proved accurate with gossip this time, saying he's leaving for family reasons is just saving face IMO. I bet the BBC didn't expect all this fuss though.

And we still don't know the reasons for him being in thr UK only a fortnight ago.

Well he is planning something involving Arlene Phillips. Perhaps he's been here in relation to the show he and Elena are putting together -? Arlene will have contacts, is a choreographer and has put shows together before.

I've no idea why they'd let him go, but I'm assuming they were cocnerned he was getting too big for the show. Although they have to shoulder some of the blame for that for hyping him up in the first place.

I know you said you had no idea so don't take my emotion personally, but ... [bib] what does it even mean that Gleb might be 'getting too big for the show'?!? They invite one of the best looking men to participate who can, as Monkseal describe, eyef***k a camera. Give him a middler who proves a great sport with talent and determination, who does better than expected. Let him unleash his choreography, pander to his costume demands and then decide he's 'too big'! It makes no sense. Never knowing the answer is proving frustrating especially as I really like him now and not just fancy him.

Gleb didn't quit the US DWTS - he had one series with a celebrity, then was demoted to the troupe (which they all see as a slap in the face.) I think he either quit or was let go after being demoted (though he spent one series in the troupe before leaving).

I don't believe he chose to quit Strictly - I think backstageone is correct and he was let go, though I think they often allow people to 'say' they chose to leave, just as a courtesy.

Isn't Artem in the troupe? So I thought Gleb did one series (with Lisa Vanderpump) then was in the troupe during which time he had an affair and left. Presumably this is wrong as he was sacked -?

Still leaves me with the question as to why Strictly did not want him back. Any thoughts on that Elsa?

Artem had a celeb, then was demoted to the troupe and got given a celeb again in the most recent series (Mischa Barton from the OC).

I heard Artem was furious when he was put in the troupe his very first season in America - and when he didn't have a partner recently, he refused to be put 'back' in the troupe - though others have taken a season off (not by their own choosing imo) and not been officially back in the troupe, like Emma Slater.

Anyway, I have a lot of theories about Gleb, but they all come down to him being a bit difficult to deal with - either in his demands or his behaviour. Don't want to say much more and it's just my theorising (and backstageone said he was getting too fresh, which can mean when "you behave rather arrogantly with the person. You don't show the respect the individual deserves" (as well as meaning you're too affectionate).

It's a bit strange to me that he dropped several partners - and one had to sit out the whole tour because of it - that alone might ring alarm bells in the producers' minds, imo.

I remember the getting too fresh comments, and took that to mean he was getting too demanding. Ŵe know he caused problems in the costume department telling them how he wanted Anita to look. I think he had a vision in his head of what the dance should look like, and wanted everything to be right but I cant imagine they took to kindly to it.

Either way he's not going quietly, and I now think that the 'business meeting' in London the other week was him and his manager working out how they were going to deal with it. Its caused a huge media storm, which has taken the spotlight off the new pro line announcement. Maybe that was the idea? I find it hard to believe this is the last we'll see him off though, and ive got a nagging feeling he might turn up on IAC in Novemeber. They've already had Vincent and Camila on it. I'd rather it was Strictly in all honesty.

The dropping of partners is interesting, it's not good, but he'd probably have felt more confident lifting Elena than another random pro.

He's coming out of it better than James did by chucking a huge tantrum.

I thought that dropping partners might be an issue as the beeb no doubt has insurance costs for such events. Dropping Natalie, which meant she was out of the tour, and other work for a few months, would have cost someone else.

It remains an enigma but I can see he might be a difficult character behind the scenes as he takes dancing and appearance seriously, perhaps too much so.

Lovely to see Gleb and Elena on This Morning.They looked very happy indeed.
In fact glowing with health and happiness .

Anyway regarding DWTS in the US .....he didn't get very far with his partner and therefore demoted to the troupe and he was in that troupe when those rumours kicked off and Elena was in India.She then left and went to Russia and he went back to Russia as well...end of Oct 2014.Also her birthday is in Oct and Olivia's in November.

No matter what I feel that he was offered a contract but she wasn't.Maybe he tried to speak to them about it and they thought that was being fresh .If he had been fresh during SCD or untoward and I don't think he ever was...but if he had been....they would NOT have asked him back for the SCD TOUR.They could have paired Anita up with anybody or not had Anita at all .Thats why I think the "fresh" story is not true and "backstageone" merely saying it the way she/he wants it rather than what it is.He does seem happy and they seem to have a plan . No way in this world would SCD mind having such a big draw on the show as Gleb.

I personally don't think he was demanding of the wardrobe dept .Only time I heard wardrobe mention him was,they said "Gleb has requested if Anita's dress could be hot pink" How is that demanding??? He has a vision in his head of the dance and trying to make the best of it.
