Here's Gleb and Jana's contemporary:

The wafting starts at about 2:05 (if you want to avoid hearing about the domestic violence woes and baby joys). I don't care for DWTS contemporary, but Gleb looks good
They got their best scores yet, but still in a poor running position and the faves got higher scores. They might be out next week (there was no elimination this week.)
BIB 1: In all fairness, Gorka is a handsome version of Rob Brydon.
BIB 2: I was hoping for some stirrings--I love paso/Spanish/flamenco kitsch--even recently watched for the first time the Mask of Zorro just for that reason (and Antonio Banderas) but .... nothing. I think it's that he's not very tall and also not very expressive in his dancing, despite his obvious skill.
BIB 3: It wasn't the truncheon for me, it was him slinking out from the side like a panther and then Anita unbuttoning his "shirt" from behind. Those were the days ....

It just wasn't her dance- I think that she was injured and TBF Gorka danced around her beautifully but with the air of a man trying to move a slightly awkward parcel.
I'm still not watching with any great enthusiasm, like you say the Grrrr factor is missing. Although I did have very slight stirrings during the Dannybots Paso. I suspect that's because his face was covered. It's not an unpleasant or unattractive face but it just doesn't do it for me.
Hhaha at the truncheon bit. I watched that again the other night and virtually all day at work I was singing 'He had it coming' the next day. Gawd I miss Anita and Gleb, although Lesly and Ed make me smile I don't really love any of the celebs this year and with no male dancers to admire it's really slim pickings,”
