Vodafone are currently offering their PAYG SIM for £9.99 with free p+p.

A £10 credit will be applied upon activation of the SIM card
So effectively, Vodafone are giving you 1p

http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/index.cfm...&producttype=2

A good deal for anyone who actually wants a Vodafone SIM, yet not so good for you greedy b******s who just want to sell them on fleabay!

If you did not buy it online when it said £10 free credit it will not be applied,it is only for the ones being issued on the website now.

Its the older one where you just get the free £1 credit or something.. The only benefit of the new one on website is you can get a new phone number for nothing if you want to stay on Vodafone PAYG.

Our 'spotters' picked up on this earlier today, but I don't think it's worth releasing on our mailing list as a free sim offer.

The offer's at http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/index.cfm...&producttype=2 and is a sim card for £4.99 with free P&P.

I know, that's not free, but Vodafone give £5 free credit with the sim card when it's registered, so you get your money back (plus a penny).

This offer is really quite clever from Vodafone really and better than their last one because it's aimed at the right people.

If you are someone that signs up several addresses to an offer just to sell on Ebay then this isn't going to be much use for you, but if you are a genuine customer looking for a new simcard then it's ideal. The £4.99 you spend on the card is returned in the free credit, so in effect the card is free but the whole things only really worth anything to you if you are getting the card for you.

Looks like they have cottoned on to what people are doing and have found a way to still get new customers and minimise the hoarders.

How long I wonder until people like O2 follow their idea?

Nope, that would be me to keep up not them.

They look out for the offers, I post on here in my spare time (or sneakily while @ work during 9-5)

Ah well, I missed a post, but there you go.........
