My cat keeps me awake by scratching at doors, are there any ways to train them not to?
Im trying a little water gun to see what happens but if theres another way? |

Well which doors, mine will scratch the back door if it wants out or in. The same with the bedroom door if evict them. So it would depend why she is doing it really?

Dont worry in no way would we harm her , we was just thinking of spraying a little water near her when she comes near the door to dig , but I was wondering whether there was alternative things to do, with cushion mext to the door she ll probably just paw it away butwill try that thanks

aw, poor thing, she is lonely
try getting a fluffy blanket and wrapping it around a hot water bottle so the little kitty has something warm to sleep against if she slept with her brother then she will be missing him at night so this might help her |

I know but she never got on with her brother and never slept near him it was the fact that there was someone else in the room with her, she never got on with any of the other cats, we think it might be that shes getting alot more attention through the day as there arnt other cats to give attention to that she wants it all night too

I saw a cat whisperer type person train a cat to not claw at the bedroom door using a can of compressed air with a motion sensor like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/PetSafe-SssC...s=ssscat+spray It's a bit expensive but if bad smells don't work, it might be worth a try.
I gave up with mine and now leave the door slightly open so Dexter can come in. It's great fun getting your toes nipped at 3 am........
