Whats the best way to setup a Hotmail.com account on your iPAD?.

Is it best to go to Mail, Contacts, Add Account, Outlook and enter details

or

Mail, Contacts, Add Account, Other and enter it manually

as when I try the second way, and try and send an Email (did a test from his account to his account), it either takes ages or he receives and error saying his Username and Password are incorrect - But there not a login to web mail works with correct password.

Or using the first way doesn't show up all his mail messages.

Am I doing something wrong?

What do you mean it doesn't show all mail? It should either work or not.

There is a very good Outlook app from Microsoft which you could use.

It works, When I went to Mail, Contacts, Add Account, I went to other and entered all his details. The problem was that the smtp password didn't match the account password, so I made sure both imap and smtp passwords we set to his acount password (uses to login to webmail) but didn't change any other setting and it worked.
