Not a popular opinion but I've found him quite funny. I m a fan of the Kardashians and thought he'd be a pain but found him to be a much better watch than most of them in there. His criticisms of Gemma's clothes were hilarious. Genuinely think he seems more grounded than most in there as well. Bit miffed why there is so much hate for him?? We can't hate all the non celebrities surely since that would rule out most of the housemates!

I don't understand this thread. We are criticising a man for not knowing who an ex girlfriend of a UK based football manager is whilst slating his celebrity when he is a self made millionaire who ran a high end PR firm and is on a reality show that is shown all over the world in over 180 countries?

I would say at least half the UK would struggle to know who Nancy is so why is an American getting slated for not knowing her. It's not like football is even that big of a thing in America nor does he seem the sporty type either.

Unlike him who is a big somebody because he's somehow involved with somebody who was in a reality TV show.”

yeah and to be honest no one over here much watches that show anyway, so over here Nancy is much more the bigger name.

The few hardcore Kardashian fans on the forum would agree with you, but in general he is completely unknown in the UK outside of that small sector of people.

We're seeing a lot more of his sense of humour on here than they've ever showed of it on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

I think he's been funny and nice, and obviously the housemates like him. There is nothing to complain about with him. I'd ask who the other people are too if I were in his shoes.

As for his fame, I'd venture to guess that 95% of Americans have never heard of him. Only the K fans who watch the shows religiously would recognize the name. Even on their show, he is a peripheral figure.

I think that some HMs like him cause they see him as a contact, especially Gemma.

Could be. Association with the K's brings in publicity and big bucks. Sad but true.

That and he was also a very successful PR agent himself.

He is the classic obnoxious American, loud, boastful and boring. The naked greed on the faces of those twits settled on the bed for his boasting session makes me want to puke.”

Why are anti American comments so widely accepted on this forum without objection?

There is a whole thread about Cheban saying "effin Arabs," when anyone who watches the K's shows knows that "effin" is an adjective widely used with any noun, or verb even, in their conversation. Some people think he should have been warned or even banned for his comment.

Anti Americanism is so accepted that no one even comments on it. It gets tiring.
