It appears to be all about the money with these two, doesn't it? There was a lot of speculation about how on earth Kristina was worth as much money to Channel 5 as she is getting paid for doing CBB - now we have our answer. It was plainly part of her contract to make her pregnancy public on the show.
Also on the DM comments section a person has posted who claims to be a friend of the Cohen family and says that Abby & the girls knew nothing about it until the barrage of press started up again last night after the announcement. If that is true I'm just appalled that Ben & Kristina could stoop so low. |

Judging by the comments I've read about this elsewhere, if Kristina really did go in there to change the public's opinion about her, this really wasn't the best way to go about it. |

Yes, I thought it was odd that she is apparently getting paid more than all the others, but I guess this explains it.

David Gest £600,000 Jonathan Cheban £300,000 Danniella Westbrook £200,000 Stephanie Davis £150,000 Kristina Rihanoff, Gemma Collins and Nancy Dell’Olio £100,000 each Winston McKenzie £60,000. http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2016...n_8914706.html |

Do you know what Kristina is being paid? I tried to look it up and I keep finding these figures:
David Gest £600,000 Jonathan Cheban £300,000 Danniella Westbrook £200,000 Stephanie Davis £150,000 Kristina Rihanoff, Gemma Collins and Nancy Dell’Olio £100,000 each Winston McKenzie £60,000. http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2016...n_8914706.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...g-Brother.html Your figures make more sense though. Either way, this probably got Kristina a better deal than she would've got otherwise. |

It would appear so......or why else the need for the reveal. Someone said the reveal was in part due to it getting awkward she wasn't drinking but given the amount of addicts in that house I can't think why her abstaining amongst a group of people who feature a few who have been in rehab and that she doesn't know would be considered odd so I can only see money, controversy creates cash etc or avoiding eviction as the motivation.

I imagine she had to announce it as she will be exempt from any very physical tasks, or eating/vomity ones - she's also not drinking.
She's wanted children for a long time, good luck to her I say. No doubt the Daily Mail will be giving a zillion column inches to Ben's estranged wife and her mother. Sometimes, relationships, especially those started in the teenage years, end. It's sad but it happens. But the ways Abbey drags it out in the Daily Mail is not doing their kids any favours. |

For your daughter's take, stop washing your laundry in public for the Daily Mail! |

I had only seen this

Anyway, I'm happy for Kristina. At 38, well, if she wants to have a baby, it doesn't make a lot of sense to put it off any longer. |

If she is 3 months pregnant, why is nobody suspecting Daniel O'Donnell?

It's not untrue - she was in the Daily Mail just a few days ago talking about them for no apparent reason.

The same could be said to Kristina and Ben (assuming he ok'd her revealing this) - I doubt dragging this out on Big Brother is doing his daughters any favours either.
Those poor girls. |

Anyway, congratulations to Kristina, it's clear she's wanted to be a mother for a while and I'm sure she'll be a good one. |

Of course it could, the point is it's laughable for anyone to suggest that the ex-wife has any more moral high ground than anyone else involved as she's been determined to make her feelings equally public and not cared to temper her language and thoughts either!

Kristina is drinking alcohol (if this is what you meant by "drinking") She was seen drinking Champagne/Prosecco on Launch Night, she had a few glasses. |

You make it sound so tragic! They hear about their (already separated) parent fathering a baby with his new partner via newspapers - hardly traumatic! With all the very real suffering children are experiencing across the world right now, it seems pretty trivial to me. And in any case, we only have the word of one commentor in the Daily Mail that that is the way they heard about it! |

I'm sure the new baby will earn them a couple of pages in one of the Celeb mags.
Nice little earner when other doors are being closed. I won't comment on the ethics of the situation with his wife and children from his marriage. They don't bare thinking about. But its a hell of a mess to bring a new baby into. |

Nothing laughable about it at all in my opinion. I am also not of the view that someone who has been cheated on should meekly accept their lot because the cheater left her for "sweet and lovely" Kristina.
