It's not an opportunity to create a media presence either. It wouldn't surprise me if Abby ends up in the Jungle.

Why would I 'get a grip'......it's as a legitimate a source of 'news' as anyone else's claim on social media to have first hand knowledge of the people involved.

I was responding to a specific poster who congratulated Kristina for announcing her pregnancy on a national reality TV show, then said Abbey Cohen should stop washing her laundry in public 'for the sake of the kids' because she sent a tweet over Christmas that she didn't need a man and the Daily Mail wrote a story about it (as far as I know she hasn't yet been on TV or written a book about it). That seems a bit more laughable to me.

I would surprise me greatly if you read her New Year post on Twitter.

Except the Mail hadn't interviewed her but lifted the comments and did a cut & paste job from her Twitter posts.

Exactly. It's astonishing the lengths people will go to on this forum to blame Abby Cohen for colluding with the media whilst ignoring Kristina publishing a book and going on a reality tv show talking about her personal life (when she isn't on chat shows moaning about invasion of her privacy!)

I'm not sure a lot of the posters who call Abby Cohen out actually realise she has never once given an interview or sold her story since this all started. A lot of comment has been attributed to her or lifted from her social media but she hasn't actually spoken to the press.....not once.

Actually I would say it is tragic for those two little girls and the security of their childhood which is gone now.”

This - though some will struggle to inject empathy into their celebrity-based fantasies.

Why? She IS the injured party along with the children and they (Kristina in particular) have also used media to discuss the romance.

That they are very unlikely to read. However, they will find out about all the press coverage. So yes, someone should think of the children and if they found out about gaining a half sibling via tv, they really do deserve better. It's tacky and deeply nasty.

But if they don't have the lie to cling to about her selling her anguish they might have to start looking at the people involved who actually have made money out of the whole business.

The number of people who want to badmouth her for existing is staggering. It's all because of that pathetic Twitter account who delights in painting her as the wicked witch of the west for their own agenda.

You can defend Kristina or her sleazebag BF without dragging the injured parties in to do so.

The Strictly Girls? Yep, they're pretty horrible.

Just because one side have done it doesn't mean the other should as well! No-one should be speaking aboiut any of this.

Obviously Kristina had to announce her pregnancy as it would have become obvious anyway when she wasn't drinking or participating in any dangerous tasks, but there are far more dignified and low-key ways of doing it, and she should either have done it before the show started or just pulled out altogether.

There is nothing to say that Ben didn't take them to one side at tell them privately. All you have is the word of an anonymous source he didn't and it may be he told them but not their mummy. If he didn't then perhaps its because he didn't want it to announced via a rant on her twitter account. Yes it's good that she hasn't gone to the press but my social group had real problems with someone we knew airing her grievances of some of us on social media (so I take a bit of dim view of it - but I think there can be a disconnect about it - i.e. because it's a personal thing you treat it as such and a part of your brain doesn't register that it's in a public place) and in a way in terms of publicity it's just as bad if you want to air stuff like there are ways of restricting posts so that only people who are your friends see them.

I'm guilty of voicing annoyances at my husband in front of my daughter but I know that I shouldn't.

Well, anybody who goes on BB must be a notoriety/fame hungry, but using it as a platform to announce such a news there, that just defines her as a media whore.

None of us know Kristina, Ben or his ex wife personally so why all the outrage?

From what we saw of Ben with his daughters during the Strictly VTs - he clearly adores them and is a good father. Yes its a shame that he fell "out of love" with his wife, but sometimes its worse for kids to be brought up in a loveless marriage with bickering angry parents than to have divorced parents who have moved on to find happiness whilst sharing the responsibility for the kids.

Im sure that Ben has already told his daughters that they will have a new brother/ sister in the summer (probably what prompted his ex wifes Twitter outbursts over the holiday period), and will make every effort to mainatin his parental responsibilities with them

Why would I be reading the posts of the ex of some rugby player?

Oh please! She would have used it to negotiate a larger fee for her appearance, there is no have to at all.

No one should be talking about it? Go tell Kristina that.

There's a difference between that and airing it all in public though - just because she hasn't given an interview doesn't make it fact that the "quotes" didn't actually come from her - people can be very media-savvy. So I wouldn't necessarily be labouring under the assumption Abby's all sweet and innocent in all of this. The only people that label applies to are the children.

For me it boils down to the simple fact that there must have been something not quite right in their marriage, at least from Ben's point of view, for him to leave at the first opportunity. Yes, it's deplorable to do that so abruptly, and yes, he seems not to even have considered the effect on the children, but I do think it's rather short-sighted to place 100% of the blame on him without a second thought.

At the end of the day though this is all speculation. The only facts are that Ben and Kristina are now together and having a child, and that there are sadly children already caught up in this mess who don't seem to be being given much of a thought.

Why not , pregnancy is a natural condition not an illness ( unless you have complications which I assume she does not )

In the past people were staying married for the sake of the children, but all the bitterness, animosity, and misery have a tendency to influence the children anyway. If they manage to stay civil with each other and Ben keeps seeing his children, splitting up might be a better solution in the end, I think.
