Can't disagree with that. And while she may be an awful MIL she obviously, like most parents, will be a mummy tiger over stuff that hurts her daughter and grandkids.

Also, I would imagine that CBB made a clause that Kristina was unable to disclose her pregnancy elsewhere, in order to get her big fat fee. So there is a price on decency

Also, from what I read on the DM website, his ex-wife has not said she didn't know about the pregnancy, only said it was a shock.

If Ben hasn't told his daughters, that would be unacceptable in my eyes, but there's nothing to indicate that either.

Doing CBB is a big mistake as far as I'm concerned, but there's a lot of muck raking going on. Ben said in a radio interview before Christmas about 60% of what is written in the media is wrong and the rest is incomplete. Sounds about right to me.

Whether true or not, people will think that the ex-wife is using her mother as her spokesperson.

My mum mentioned it to me this morning. My parents marriage finished in similar circumstances. I was actually thinking about it today, 20 years later, and I kind of wish that I had a half-sibling. Even if Ben's children feel unhappy about it now, I reckon that in years to come, they'll welcome their new brother or sister into their lives.

I referred to her as "ex-wife" earlier but I've Googled away and can only find that Abby "filed for divorce" no confirmation of decree absolute or even decree nisi.

Based on actually no fact whatsoever I think Ben did not want this to come out the way it did. I think he would much rather have waited until the divorce was finalised and the girls had been told. I expect his hand has been forced somewhat. There is some speculation that Ben does want to keep a low profile and it's Kristina who is more keen to them to be 'out' as a couple. I expect like most women she wants her man to show publicly that he proud to be with her where as he's trying to temper this with showing some respect to his wife and kids. Also the lawyers working on their financial settlement will use this 'news' to get an even better settlement for Abby & the girls.

I really don't give this relationship much future......I think Kristina is too pushy, too showbiz and too volatile. Once the excitement, great sex etc has worn off I think Ben is going to wonder what the hell he's done and what has this cost him financially, professionally and emotionally.

All just my opinion and gut instinct of course.

There is no divorce yet. The financial settlement has to be sorted and they've just had to reduce the price of their house from £1.8 million to £1.45. to get a sale.

I always liked Kristina but when she started rubbing his ex's nose in her new relationship which may or may not have started prior to them splitting, it put me right off her. I don't even have the words for him but as far as I know (and I could be wrong) it's Kristina who has sought the publicity.

This attributed sources close to the person in the article are as likely to be from 'Kevin on the Sports Desk' as they are from any actual person with any first hand knowledge. That's the point of an 'unnamed source' it literally can be the man off the street who has an opinion. I found myself being a quoted source in an article in The Express last year based on a post I made on Twitter. No basis in fact whatsoever and just my opinion.

His wife, not 'ex-wife', clearly did not know about the pregnancy until the TV announcement, and your reading of the situation, besides its factual inaccuracy, seems to be based on nothing more than wishful thinking.

He's not divorced so it's a bit tasteless announcing it publicly before telling his wife and daughters privately. Ben is some piece of work. I'm sure Kristina will have her mother staying with them. I don't think there are many 38 year olds that get "pregnant" accidentally
