No sorry it's so dated and very weak. Though probably fine for Lithuania.

It's a bit tacky but then it's for Eurovision. What the song needs is better production, like a much stronger dance beat in the chorus.

For some reason the "shut up, shut up" bit made me think of this.

This should have been our entry. They're better known in Europe than here - esp Russia/Germany and have said they want to sing in Eurovision. They were even rejected - which leads me to believe maybe the powers that be don't want us to win.

I actually quite like the Lithuanian entry.

Totally agree about Hurts.

It does seem baffling that we have a UK act who are massive all over Europe who, as you've rightly posted, wanted to do Eurovision.

The BBC even rejected Katie Melua's The Flood from 2010 (which is still a brilliant track imo) and decided to go with Pete Waterman instead probably knowing he would create a stinking fart of an entry.

I'm really unsure what the situation is with the BBC especially since the government started putting their two bits in. It's as if the BBC don't want to host Eurovision for financial reasons, yet the BBC remains one of the "big 5" (so how much exactly does the UK give towards Eurovision every year?) and besides, surely hosting Eurovision in either London, Manchester, Birmingham, etc...would be brilliant for tourism and the economy?
