Do we think Queen Nancy polled lower than Winston and they've hastily chanted the eviction format to save face/ the extra hundred grand they've paid out on our Nance?
Errrrr ....... let me think ........ YES!

It's cheeky, but it's got me sticking around to watch the second part so I guess it's worked.

But the thing is that if any how Winston survives this and Nancy goes people on here are going to accuse the eviction format being changed for exactly the same thing, except swap a hundred grand for controversy and ratings

I think the public would reasonably assume that it was going to work like all the other 'vote to save' times, where the contestant(s) with the fewest votes leave(s).

What if one contestant out of three up for eviction were very popular, and a voter who preferred another of the contestants thought: 'Well I know that my contestant won't get the most votes, but they might get enough to be saved over the third contestant'?

So yes it is misleading the voters, but to be honest I can't imagine who votes nowadays anyway - given the constant production meddling and manipulation your vote could easily count for nothing, so why bother and waste your money?

yes they can BB are just covering their @$$e$, they want him gone because he's causing so many complaints & Channel 5 producers bottled it & brought in this twist at the last minute too ensure his removal, I'm not complaining tho
I don't understand this logic. He was a definite to go tonight, if it was down to the public vote. Now it's down to the housemates, it could go either way. So BB might just have ensured that he stays.

Either way it's dubious in my opinion. Don't like the guy, but this type of thing does my head in. if it's a public vote it's a public vote - end of! Don't then fiddle with the results!!!!

They will get around it by saying that they didn't say people were voting to evict but they didn't announce the housemates would be voting to evict until the lines were closed, easy to hoodwink people and they did it no matter what they say. I don't know why people are surprised though, they ALWAYS do this. I stopped voting after the very first time they put someone back into the house that the public had voted out, they won't ever get my money again and I wish others had followed suit.
