It's bigotry pure and simple

Christians pick and choose which parts of the bible they follow.

What a ridiculous and blanket statement. Not every Christian shares his opinions. The same way not every Muslim shares the opinions of ISIS. Grow up

Homosexuality is condemned in the bible

you're all missing the point, if a religious muslim was in the house, would big brother use one of their debatable beliefs as part of a game?

Spot on.

Amir Khan has been interviewed a lot of time but has he ever been asked about homosexuality in terms of his faith?

See christian = get christian to say crazy shit.

That is what I was thinking. As much as I don't agree with his views, I found it uncomfortable to watch. Shame on Channel 5, they are inciting hatred, and that is wrong. They knew he held these controversial views, yet they pay him a lot of money to go in, and they set him up with the video question and that task. I don't like homophobia and I don't like bullying either, two wrongs.

Not sure I want to watch the eviction.

Saying gay parents are akin to child abuse isn't Christian so yes if a Muslim HM was famous for shouting about their obnoxious slanted take on Islam then I am sure BB would relish showing them up for that too.

Of course not. Do you think BB would ever let an amir khan even face a question about his religions views on homosexuality? Not a chance.

Ahmed admitted being homophobic in his BB5 audition VT. And Marco admitted his dislike of "refugees who sponge off the government."

Clearly both set up for a clash.

Indeed. I know many people who consider themselves Christians who totally believe in equality and would never dream of the kind of views Winston holds..

The abrahamic faiths forbid the sexual act of homosexuality and no mater what politicians do re the law on gay marriage, no one apart from god can change the rules of religion.

Just because some people do not practice every part of their religion for whatever reason does not mean that homosexuality is allowed under religious rules, its not in the abrahamic faiths. That doesn't make people biggoted, they are following their genuine belief in their established religion, not making things up as they go along.

I do agree with this. Channel 5 / BB are hypocrites in this. They employed him because of his obnoxious take on things and now they relish telling him off for being what he essentially is and showing him up as much as they can.

I did not say that every christian shares his opinion, just that christians pick and choose what parts of the bible they follow and which parts they don't

The bible forbids people from wearing clothes woven of two kinds of material

I've also never seen a woman get her hand chopped off for grabbing her husband's bollocks mid-battle
Quote:
“When men fight with one another, and the wife of the one draws near to rescue her husband from the hand of him who is beating him, and puts out her hand and seizes him by the private parts, then you shall cut off her hand. Deuteronomy 25:11-12”

Many Christians are against slavery, the bible, it seems, is not

Quote:
“Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. Ephesians 6:5 NLT”

The bible bans shellfish for goodness sake

There are a LOT of bible rules that christians ignore, so when a christian uses their religion to talk badly about homosexuality I wonder why they don't use it to try and ban clothes made with two different kinds of materials.
